I love the recurring jokes. Such as Mr. Popo being a brutal creeper, Krillin being a bitch that everyone picks on, Nappa being an obnoxious idiot who makes Vegeta's life a living hell, etc.

One of the funniest bits was from Episode 7 and Nappa thinking Chaozu is a pokemon, throws a pokeball at him, leading Vegeta telling him he needs to weaken "it."

A very good series with great voices, I always look forward to the next episode.

One of the guys (Takahata101 I believe, don't quote me) has done abridged movies.

EDIT: Okay, it was Vegeta8639 and he just did The World's Strongest (and is working on Tree of Might).

The movies are not the same humor the series though. They're very absurd and random.

Don't get me wrong they're enjoyable.

Really, the only part I found truly "LOLable" was Shen Long going "What...?" after he's summoned. Actually, Shen Long in both movies is pretty funny. But other than that it's just kinda random (haemarroids, douchebag, etc.). But I did find Goku's comment about Chi-Chi being beat up hilarious.

I second this notion.

While I --did-- laugh my ass off at this, I felt shame afterwards for finding something so lowbrow and nonsequiter so funny. I think that's the best way to sum up the Abridged Movies: a guilty pleasure.

I totally disagree on the movies. They are very similar to the series, and have mostly the same voices. The writing is a little different (for example, they are even harder on Krillin than in the series), but similar too.

Roshi: Ok everyone, here's the plan. Goku, Krillin, you two and me: Kamehameha. Gohan, you stand there and look terrified. Ready... break.

They fire with no effect.

Goku: I blame Krillin!

*After everyone's scattered*

Gohan: Oh boy, it's my turn!

Goku: Gohan, that's my power pole! I told you to stay out of daddy's special closet.

Gohan: Don't worry Dad, I can do i... *knocked out in one hit, Piccolo catches*

Piccolo: ...yup.

Goku: Piccolo, I have a plan!

Piccolo: If it's "don't dodge," then f*ck off.

And I love the ending.

Goku: Oh Piccolo? Thanks for your help.

Piccolo: F*ck you, Goku. F*ck you.

Goku: Nice to see you too! Wow, what a nice guy.

Narrator (actual series narrator at that): And once again, noone died in this filler movie, except for the villain. And he will never be spoken of ever again.

The poster was just for fun. A little thing we did on our free time. As far as Douchebag goes, he's funny merely for how his name is said and not much else.
