On another note, Roshi has a full-fledged Hawaiian shirt. I must buy this game so I can finally kick ass with a Hawaiian-shirted character.

Yes. Because Budokai was SO original and wasn't influenced by ANY OTHER GAMES IN EXISTENCE. It practically invented a new genre of gaming!

Take a gander at the poses, and movements the models have; they're exactly the same as the Budokai series'. In any case, I'm still quite interested in seeing how it plays out.

I never undestood the appeal of video games that are based on movies. 98% of them suck.

That's just my opinion, though.

So I guess this means Bulma will be a badass in the film. Not that she wasn't a badass in the manga/anime, but it looks she'll be an active fighter.

Meh, I can deal with that.

They might even have alternate costumes that you know...make them look more like the characters their supposed to be based on!

Strange that Chatku isn't in any of these screenshots.
Still, the screenshots I see do nothing for me; looks like a Budoukai re-hash only with the actors and actresses.

But I don't have a psp to begin with, so they're not losing anything from one less copy being bought.

I wonder if the LA cast will voice the characters?

Also, it seems to me all of these techniques will be fist and leg based specials. Sort of dissapointing, but alas...
