Hot d*mn those boxes look nice. If i had the money Id buy them right now.

1. Do they not have them in stores?

2. Are they the same books just in the boxes or did they reprint with different materials?

3. Are they uncut or edited?

I've seen a box like this for Death Note in the manga sections of a couple bookstores I've been in. I'd guess that you may find the boxes sitting in a bookstore, though the shipments may not have arrived yet. They'd also probably order it for you if you asked.

Oh okay. I like buying things from a store. Ill spend a few extra bucks for a cashier to hands me a bag right then than wait for the internet to ship me a box.

I'm just guessing, but probably as edited as the single versions were. Which isn't anything major or important, and the silliest thing I've had pointed out is that they changed the guns of those two guys in the Buu saga into lasers of some kind. I didn't even notice till it was pointed out to me.

Oh alright, just if I'm paying THAT much money, ID want to get all the good stuff. Those boxes are a LOT nicer than I though. I didnt know it came with a front cover flap and everything.

EDIT: What are those two tiny flaps on the inside of the front cover?

They're pretty close to the original manga if you ask me (my copies at least). There are one or two edits, but the gore itself is pretty much in fact. Cell Jrs and Drum exploding all gore like n all.

I was just looking at that, and i feel bad for everyone post cell saga because they dont get a picture. i mean they had to have some plan for the picture when they started it.

Probably just because there weren't enough books to fit more on? I think he drew the spine picture piece by piece (he somehow ended up with Yajirobe being on one twice I believe).

Yeah he is at the beginning and then about 1/4 of the way to the right, they could have cut a lot of clutter at the second yajirobe and fit more in. i would have drew the left start, the right start, and the middle piece then fill in the two gaps so it would be more even.

Well, I managed to get an order in for that Goku/Luffy figurine, which I have been trying to get for months, but it's been sold out. I just hope Hobby LInk Japan doesn't fail me.

I got Dragon Ball Z: Season 6, Movie Collection 4, and Movie Collection 5 (say what you will about the Season Sets, at least they always got the right series for the cover).

I also pre-ordered the Goku Training figurine, and the battle damaged DX Goku figurine.

Yup, the set is definitely censored.

The "flipping off Cell" pic in volume 31 has been altered to into fists. It looks weird seeing it that way...

Ah, is it the cover of the Cell vs 16 chapter? With Kuririn and Yamcha doing it? If so mine's edited that way too.

There are plenty of minor edits in Viz's versions, but nothing that makes the story lose meaning, luckily.
