Favorite Filler Scene?
Hey guys!
I was recently browsing Youtube when I found this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m2QiqwSNCw0
It made me realize that sometimes Filler can be funny as hell. Thus, what are your Favorite Filler Scenes?
These two also made me laugh like crazy:

I like any of the filler scenes within fights. Another thing that comes to mind is Chi-Chi, Videl, Bulma and Dabura searching for Gohan in the Other World. I know it makes no sense that they got to keep their bodies, but I liked the scene all the same. It used to be on youtube, but it was taken down.

I liked the driving episode. Most of the filler in the Saiyan saga was great. It was all about Gohan's adventures.
The Buu saga had great filler, and it was seamless most of the time. You can normally tell when something is filler (plothole is created/new characters that you'll never see again are introduced/ext.), but the Buu saga didn't seam like it had a whole lot. Well, Goku and Vegeta's adventures inside Majin Buu reeks of filler. But that's all I can think of.

For humor the driving test Episode is a classic...For action and/or drama...
Piccolo, Kuririn, Tenshinhan, & Yamcha all attacking Cell is a staple. In addition the Goku/Majin Vegeta fight had great filler. I felt the Manga version of that fight was a let down. You've got the rematch of the century here and we hardly get anything. The filler I felt was well done and a kick ass watch.

Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

So many choices. As many before have said, the Son's battles using Super Saiyan 2 were all improved in the Anime (and one case...created solely for the Anime). While I have fond memories of the Afterlife tournament, the fact that SSj Son defeated Paikuhan whom had defeated Super Perfect Cell...sort of ticks me off.
But it was more of a right place, right time thing. If Goku didn't see the Thunder Flash's weakness, he would've been beaten. But because Pikkon was too predictable and at the edge of the ring, he was able to do Instant Transmission and fire a weak Kamehameha to knock him out of the ring.JulieYBM wrote:So many choices. Even so, Son was putting up a good fight against someone who had singlehandedly and effortlessly taken out Super Perfect Cell.jjgp1112 wrote:But it was more of a right place, right time thing. The majority of the fight was Pikkon kicking Goku's ass and Goku getting a comeback.JulieYBM wrote:Even so, Son was putting up a good fight against someone who had singlehandedly and effortlessly taken out Super Perfect Cell.jjgp1112 wrote:But it was more of a right place, right time thing. Around the end of original DragonBall in one of the pre-Goku/Chichi-wedding episodes. And ya' better believe, Rocketman's freeze-frame fastforward-rewind-paused that DVD more than any other in existence. Am I wrong?Wojak wrote:Why hello thar.
When did that happen?
As for my favorite filler scene, I'm gonna have to go with Kid Buu taking on Pikuhan, Kuririn, and Yamcha. I just love the stakes when Buu manages to bring himself to literally the safest place in the universe and how he's threatening the after-lives of these great warriors, whilst seeing Pikuhan take a crack at him was an unexpected treat the first time I saw that episode. Very close second would be either Goku and his driving school teacher nearly drowning as he's trying to explain why he needs a license, or Goku and Vegeta trying to compromise with the giant worms in Buu's innards.
