I won't be so bad if a new series is made that goes by the manga. No filler...and No Z at all.Gozar wrote:I really can't say I am looking forward to this. It just seems pointless. This is like the Funimation mentality here. DragonBall IS an old series, it doesn't need to be touched up to look nicer. I happen to enjoy watching the series in all its classic looking glory.
The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.
By "No Z" you mean covering the Z Era but not changing the title, right? I doubt that would happen, the Z Name what the franchise is known by for the larger part in Japan as well.Raki wrote:I won't be so bad if a new series is made that goes by the manga. I think the concept of a No Filler retelling of the 42 Volumes would be a nice idea and fun to watch. Maybe FUNi would grab it and do it accurately this time. But I don't want them to "Touch-Up" a classic piece of Animation History. A new series is fine...But leave the original art alone.

As long as it isn't the kind of fanservice that Toei gave us when they were making GT. As long as it doesn't turn out as mediocre as GT did.B wrote:I'll take fanservice and plotholes over boring any day.

I don't know why you're so excited to see the Cell Saga.Dr. Casey wrote:I'm watching the Freeza Saga right now. I'll be glad once this damned fight ends and I can start the Cell Saga; the Freeza battle lasts around 30 episodes, counting the portions before Goku shows up.

Maybe because it's got interesting twists, reasonably long fights, and the characters go through believeable problems? And because the villians aren't annoying pussies?Pain wrote:I don't know why you're so excited to see the Cell Saga.Dr. Casey wrote:I'm watching the Freeza Saga right now. I'm saying that because the "Other World Saga" and the "Saiyaman Saga" come after it.B wrote:Maybe because it's got interesting twists, reasonably long fights, and the characters go through believable problems?
