New Leblon Delienne Dragonball Z Statues out now!

Post by Oldphan » Wed Feb 04, 2009 8:46 am

Hey guys! Leblon Delienne is a French design / toy company that has been putting out some very nice resin Dragonball Z statues this past year. Well, their Imperfect Cell is now available, and they have also just announced a Trunks!

Some of their figures including these two look great, but they are quite pricy. I don't own any for exactly that reason, but I must say that the Cell and the Krillin are quite tempting... Check out the website here: http://www.leblon-delienne.fr/

All the best,

I like the Trunks one. Vegeta and Krillin are nice too, but the Goku and Gohan are kind of off looking. Very cool! 8)

Oh hey, they have some Barbapapa stuff! :D
Jerseymilk: "Can I tell you something?"
B-kun: "What?"
Jerseymilk: "I see Fangirls."

Oh, man... 99 Euros...?! Craziness.

And here I was considering getting that Trunks one as a gift for a special someone, and then that Gohan one for myself... :P

Come on Mike, 127 bucks is completely reasonable for what look like 5 inch statues.

Whoever said the best things in life are free clearly wasn't a fan of Dragon Ball. :(

If you do decide to get the Gohan, you might also want to get the SS Goku as well, as I've been told be several people that the two figures click together to form the famous father son Kamehameha from the show... Unfortunately I have absolutely no photographic proof of this, but looking at their bases it looks like it's true. Expensive as hell, but I'm sure the pair of them would make an incredible display set!

I'm... err... not going this year...

Getting back on topic, these are really intriguing figures to me. I was sad that the Freeza one wasn't all that well crafted, while some of the others were really nice.

Also, in case anyone's having trouble navigating the site (especially since it masks the URLs), get to the DBZ figures by clicking "BOUTIQUE" in the navigation menu up top, then "STATUETTES DE COLLECTION", then click the DBZ image in the top row (it's SSJ2 Gohan).

I hereby declare that it is your job to stop convincing me to buy things, because otherwise I'm going to go broke in a month.

Isn't hiring Oldphan to keep you away from figurines like hiring Goku to keep you away from food?

*Hides all the other insane awesome toy news* I have to warn you, I'm probably not going to be very good at that job, lol. A lot of the new Dragonball items being released these days really are so high quality and great looking, it is easy to spend to much, and FAST at that.... I hear ya. I'm surprised though that you didn't think much of the Freeza - it's actually the sculpt I'm most drawn to.

If you find these intriguing, you may also be interested in taking a look at the new Dragonball resin statues coming out of a company called High Dream Corp. They haven't announced anything new in awhile, but I am expecting news from them very soon. Right now they only have a Piccolo, but a very nice looking Freeza is also on the way....Check em out:

http://www.high-dream.com/#/dragonballz/4522274126

And it goes without saying, these are also very expensive...

Sorry to tempt you with the spending Mike, it's impossible to not want to share this stuff with other fans! : )

Here's a direct link, for the lazy.

These are some awesome figures. Too bad they're way out of my price range.
