I am actually shocked that people are starting to like this movie.
The Saiyans are very much like the Klingons and Jem'Hadar.

Don't worry I'm sure MisterFlashDude is on his way to verbally kick everyone's ass.

God, those pants are terrible. And the awkwardness of the mid-air fighting...

If there's slow-motion in this film, I'm going to groan loudly in the theater.

Yeah, cause there's never slow motion in the cartoon.

None that I remember. Or was used cheesily as a lot of slo-mo is in action film.

I don't remember seeing any slow-mo in the anime either if it helps.
*Not really a fan of slow-mo; except when its used in Mythbusters.

Damn am I torn between my love for that awesome flying car and my dislike/irritation towards Chatku. >_O

Yeah I don't remember any either. If there was it was very minimal.

Well, that's much better. I just hope the finsihed film's midair battles look better.

The slow-motion will be used to emphasize super-speed fighting, I think. In the script, it's described that the debris is moving very slowly in the air as they fight.
If challenge had a taste, you'd be quite delicious.

That's at least somewhat acceptable so long as it isn't cheesy and/or overused.

These trailers are sorely missing mid-battle trash-talking.

"I killed your grandfather, I shall slay you as well Son!"

"Yeah, well...yo' momma's green!"

You should write for Funimation. They would find those lines "mondo cool"!

Please, I'd just rewrite Daimao's subs to match the flaps, son.

Well, I think that, technically, any time you could clearly see the characters fighting at what were supposed to be speeds too fast for the untrained eye to track, you were experiencing the fight in slow motion.

But, if you mean the kind of slow-motion where everyone is doing stuff like inching their way across the screen, stretching their arms out and going, "NNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOO... ", then yeah, I don't think you actually see a lot of that in the series. Maybe three or four times? I dunno. *shrug*

*Imagines that scene with TeamFourStar's Goku*.

*Doesn't know whether to XD or >_O *

Oh! I should mention I'm happy with the new opening vocals on the "apocalypse" rather than the much earlier rhyming Gohan one.
I still kinda miss the "gods from the sky" of the previous one though. It gave me that hysterical mental image of Vegeta dressed as Zeus with some giant thunderbolts and stuff.

Full trailer. I hope I was allowed to post it.
Hmm... so that must mean that the theme song for the English version will be "Rule."

So does "sex you up", but I wouldn't want to see it in this movie regardless. :P
