OK, over at http://dragonballzgt.smfforfree3.com/index.php we're trying to come up with ideas for the perfect DB/Z/GT game. I took it on myself to be the one who selects the music.
Here are the tracks I selected, along with where they would play in the story mode. Most song titles are taken from the 5-disc set or the later 3-disc set.
I'd like your opinions, please.
Dragonball
Tabidachi: A piece of background music (BGM). Plays in some very early DB fights.
Wolf Hurricane: A song. Plays in the first fight between Goku and Yamcha.
Pilaf To Sono Buka: A piece of BGM. Plays in any fight with Pilaf, Shu, and Mai.
Makafushigi Adventure: The opening song. Plays during Yamcha vs. Oozaru Goku.
Mezase Tenkaichi: A song. Plays during the 21st Budokai fight between Jackie Chun and Goku.
Daininjuuichai Tenkaichi Budokai: A piece of BGM. Plays during other 21st Budokai fights.
Red Ribbon Army: A song. Plays during the fight between Goku and Arale and General Blue.
Hikaru Blue No Me: A piece of BGM. Plays during most fights in the Red Ribbon Army saga.
Koroshiya Taopaipai: A piece of BGM. Plays when Goku battles Taopaipai.
Moeru Heart De- Red Ribbon Gun Wo Yattsukero: A song. Plays when Goku storms the Red Ribbon HQ, and battles Adjutant Black.
Dainijuunikai Tenkaichi Budokai: A piece of BGM. Plays during most 22nd Budokai fights.
Dragon Ball Densetsu: A song. Plays during Goku's fight against Tenshinhan.
Piccolo Daimao No Kyoufu: A piece of BGM. Plays during most fights in the Piccolo Daimao saga.
Son Goku No Gyokushuu: A piece of BGM. Plays during the final battle between Goku and Piccolo Daimao.

MISCELLANEOUS
Romantic Ageru Yo: to play after the defeat of Piccolo at the Budokai (the Dragonball ending theme, as this basically ends the Dragonball story, unless we want to do that filler with Annin and Pilaf, in which case it goes there).
Zenkai Power: after Mirai Trunks defeats his version of Cell (again, DBZ's first ending theme, and that wraps up the part of DBZ where that song is used).
We Were Angels: after the 28th Budokai (DBZ's second ending theme, and that ends DBZ).
Kamesennin Saigo No Mafuba: in a cutscene when Kamesennin dies after failing to trap Piccolo Daimao.
Kieru Namekkusei To Kibou: in a cutscene when Planet Namek explodes.
So, thoughts? Sound good? Bad? Completely crazy?

I can hardly imagine the twenty-second tournament without that... ur... almost dirge-ish BGM going on? Not sure what it's called... ur... or how to netscribe it...
And as Dragonball Densetsu is pretty different from that, it kinda surprised me. XD. Then I remembered that T'en is in the movie where I first heard DB:Densetsu. Gah, I really shouldn't go this long without eating...
It's times like these where I wish I had the uncut first thirteen episodes on-hand. Except my dvd drive is broken. Darn.
Seeing as this looks a bit more thorough than my various (dead?
) attempts (which are usually 98% midis), I can't complain. 
And you know what else?
