"Tenshinhan"

The Arabic dub named him: "Tyan" which is kinda odd compared to other name changes since it resamples the dub name "Tien".

Tenshinhan in the German manga and all three animes.

In the Italian dub his name is Tensing if I remember correctly.

Also, I'm not quite sure, but I believe he's "Ten Chin Han" in Ultimate Batte 22.

He was also sometimes called just Tenshin in the Portuguese dub.

Okay guys, I'll go to a different direction this time and choose an object.

and I choose "Kinto'un"

The Arabic dub used a wierd ((and funny)) name for it. It roughly translates to "Cosmic Skate"

I give you the right to laugh at it.

Dutch manga; "Supersonische wolk", meaning "supersonic cloud".
I'm guessing it's also called something like that in the French manga considering our version was translated from French.

Germany

In the first 53 episodes of Dragon Ball it's Überschallwolke -> Sonic Cloud

After that it's always Jindujun, like in the German manga version (and I HATE this term).

"Jindujun" in the Norwegian and Danish manga, too. "Magiske sky" (Magic cloud) in the Norwegian anime.

I wonder who came up with "Nimbus". It just seems... random. I mean, incredibly random.

In Roman mythology, a nimbus was a shining cloud surrounding a deity when they were on Earth. It was translated to Christianity as the halo around the heads of Christ and the Saints in Christian art.

It also refers to a rain cloud.

Well, that's one name change in DB that sort of makes sense on FUNi's part. I mean, at least it's related to what they were naming.

Yep. It was called "Nuage magique" (Magic Cloud) and "Nuage supersonique" (Supersonic Cloud).
