The DBZ Video we will never find !!
Sorry EX, You're right... I'm evil, lol! j/k. But, If some one who owns the boxes would work with you and supply you info and screencaps of the extras... but that's the problem, getting someone to help on such a project.
We should also get episode screencaps and bitrate info to put to rest all the debates about DragonBoxes vs. FUNi DVD's. [yoda voice]A good addition to the "Rumors" section that could be, hmmm?[/yoda voice]

A lot of it would be very technical things I probably wouldn't even be able to answer; I don't know, exactly, which filtering and clean-up processes both the Japanese and American authoring studios use on the footage. I can make some pretty educated guesses, but I don't want to "guess" at stuff.SonGokuGT wrote:We should also get episode screencaps and bitrate info to put to rest all the debates about DragonBoxes vs. FUNi DVD's. In terms of bitrate and direct frame comparisons, that could probably be done pretty easily. Something like,
RUMOR: The Dragon Box sets look amazingly better than FUNimation's DVDs!
... with an answer of "Decide for yourself" with some actual un-touched, lossless PNG images to go along with it.
Oh, how I wish I had thousands of dollars and far more free time...!

<Xyex> Original Freeza never sounded like a chick to me.
<Kaboom> Neither does Rita
<Xyex> Good point.

I totally agree with you and besides if you want to rip openings/closings without credits and all the things you told it's simply GREAT !!MajinVejitaXV wrote
I won't give complete episode rips, DVD ISOs, or anything like that, but small clips (openings, closings, recaps, previews, etc.) I don't mind ripping, especially since they're not available stateside *at all* in some cases, be it Toei or FUNi's fault.
My god I wonder if if I can wait until this week end, you play with my heart MajinVejitaXV !
Thank you so much Mr TORIYAMA !!

Agreed. I can guess what they do, but I can't be certain...VegettoEX wrote: A lot of it would be very technical things I probably wouldn't even be able to answer; I don't know, exactly, which filtering and clean-up processes both the Japanese and American authoring studios use on the footage. Anyway, I'm willing to help with PNG files and technical specs (bitrate, FPS, etc) if you want. I can only do the Toei sets, as I sold all the DBZ discs I had, save for the movies (and two which EB couldn't find in their system?). If you're serious about it, I'm me sometime and we'll coordinate (oh, and did I ever send you that last VOB for the DB intros?)
As far as money goes...I built my credit with the Dragon Boxes ;p

I know that but t in these menus (because I saw them at my firend's home) the clip only lengths 30 seconds and it loops.spikemcruffy wrote:I already made a link to those images , did I not? On the Dragon Box thread.
Then it was locked by Shinjis Dad.
By the way , that video was used in the chinese version of DragonBall Z for the menu of the dvd.
I remind you it originally lengths more than 3 minutes !!
So I let you imagine all we didn't see !! That's why we need our friend MajinVejitaXV because he's the only one who accept to rip it !!
Thank you so much Mr TORIYAMA !!
