I have to admit I'm curious as to how Yamcha's going to be portrayed in this movie. Especially because of how little we've heard about him.

Park's blonde hair is about the only thing that irks me. As long as he displays the Roga-Fufu-ken, I'll be pleased.

What irked me most was that the director chose him right off the bat before he could say anything. He came in wearing shorts and a cap and the director associated him with Yamcha.

Seriously?

So by proxy, if a guy had walked onto the set wearing a pink shirt that read "BAD MAN" in black letters on the back, he'd be instantly cast as Vegeta?

My hopes for Yamcha have been let down a little more.

I entered the audition wearing a hat and shorts, and as soon as the director looked at me, he said “You are Yamcha.” I still can’t believe it. I won’t appear the first 25% of the movie, but I will later on.

(Like why he got the part despite being more than twice Yamcha's age.)

And here I was hoping he and his flying car would balance out the bland angsty "Teach me how to be normal." stuff I've seen from Chatku.

As a fangirl I feel I've gotten the short end of the stick.

Joon Park IS Yamcha. Please watch him speak English in interviews, he's freaking him. Same attitude and everything.

And like I've said a million times, Yamcha is hilarious in the movie, and he's what I imagined him to be like in live-action.

Without even seeing it, I can tell you "yes." Most music videos from Japan tend to be weird by our standards. Especially J-Pop.

Huh. Bondage and BDSM in general isn't exactly the first thing that comes to mind when I think of Dragon Ball. ^^;

The closest they ever get is Vegeta's ki cuffs during the Majin Vegeta VS Goku fight.

Hm, a few other instances come to mind:

-Pilaf and Bulma
-Cell and Android 18

Concerning the video: I thought that it was a strange and random concept, but for what it's worth; everything looked shiny and pretty I guess? The dance-fu was amusing, and Ayumi's little explosion of light was a nice touch and nod to Dragonball (intentionally, I assume). But...it'll never beat this one!

Oh, and I bet I know who they'll meet in the room made of light.
