Dragonball Viz big vol 01 and DragonballZ Viz big vol 01.
90% of dragonball fans detest dragonballgt. If you are one of the 10% who like GT, post this in your signature.

Read my DBGT Remake fanfic! http://db.schuby.org/daizex/viewtopic.php?t=9747
Read my DBAF fanfic, it has terrible writing the first few chapters but I improve in later ones, http://anime.myfavoritegames.com/creative-corner/fanworks-library/101320-dragonballaf.html

haha Awesome. I've seen it on ebay, but they want like $11.99 plus shipping. Any other place you know of that I could find it?
You may want to visit some asian markets or hobby stores around your area; that's how I first stumbled upon the RealWorks figures (at a grocery store  ) You may also want to browse around HobbyLink Japan as well. Then again, the shipping costs would probably round out to about the same price as what you've listed over on Ebay.

I apologize if I wasn't much help. Goodluck!

Snail- If you live in Toronto or around the surronding areas, tell me where you can get those figures from. Chinatown is way to big for me to search for them. And the only anime store I go to doesn't carry DragonBall action figures any more :(

My most recent purchase would be Season 8 and The Double Feature if my dad's POS car didn't break down at the worse possible time. (the lease on my mom's car expired)

Unfortunately, I don't reside in T-dot, but...

T&T Supermarket (if that rings a bell) is a recommended spot. The REALWORKS figures should be in the candy/junkfood aisles, or near the checkout. If all else fails; as an alternative you can always just purchase online.

However, if you cannot purchase items online yourself, there is always the option of visiting various hobby stores (comic book stores, figure stores..etc. etc.) and request the clerk/owner/employee to order for you.

Or you can always track down an anime oriented shop such as Sakura Media and the employees should be able to help you there.

No guarantees, but goodluck!

Yeah, the thing is there isn't really anything like that in my area. I think the closest place is like two and a half hours away. Thanks though, I appreciate it. I'll just have to take a trip some time! Though I suppose gas and shipping may even out. :P

Just got my DBZ Manga Box Set in the mail. Only had the first 4 so I decide to grab this while I could, DB Box Set should be coming today or sometime this week.

Image

And I got this for xmas but forgot to post it. I ordered this poster off of ebay but my girlfriend got it made into a wall plaque. It's my favorite item I own.

Image

Also I have a question about the poster, it has to be a reprint, it says No 24 of 1000. Are all of the posters sold of this have No 24 on them and is the big Dragon Ball / Dragon square suppose to be there in the bottom left hand corner?

Thanks!

Lovely poster setup. And wow, the manga complete collection box looks pretty spiffy!

May I ask how you were able to acquire the poster?

I bought quite a bit today at Walmart including DBZ seasons 7 and 8, and both DBGT seasons.

And after being a proud DragonBall fan for over 10 years, today I finally own every episode of DBZ(GT).
Gohan: At least he doesn't have his sword out anymore.
Kuririn: Yeah, and your dad put his finger away too.

I'm holding out on buying anything new for the moment. Unless I get the VIZBIGs before then, it'll probably be April or May when I get the new special on DVD.

Zero, however unlikely... can you check for us to see if there is any more/less censorship in these boxes?
For all the flack that FUNimation gets on this forum for their quote about DBZ, there's some modicum of truth to it: a 9-year-old is born every day. Or in some cases, "reborn". DBZ may be a kids' show, but it's been so close to so many hearts all over Japan, America, and quite possibly, even the world.
bkev,

I havn't had a chance to look through them yet. I did however see the buu saga, vegetto called buu boo and himself vegerot. All of the books have the same VIZ logo on the bottom. I wont be home till next week so I won't be able to look over them till then. Sorry.

Also, why hasn't mike posted an update about them being out and shipped? Is he shunning them like how he does with the seasoned boxes?

Just today, I bought the Super13/Bojack Double Feature. Good buys for me; prior to now I've only seen each movie once, and 7 was just the dub.

I bought DBZ season 8, GT season 2, and the Androids/Bojack movies.

But on bad thing:
When I opened up the movies, the case cracked all the way down the spine, separating the front and back :(

Is this something I should take back to Walmart? or contact Funi?
