This was supposed to be serious and humorous at the same time.

No, really it is. Have you seen Mr. Popo? The main thing that makes me say this is the Super Saiyan transformation. For those of you that don’t know, going Super Saiyan was when some of the Saiyan characters (Goku, Gohan, Vegeta, etc.) increased their power level. They weren’t really different except for two things: they had blonde hair and blue eyes.

Just what excactly were they trying to say to viewers? I could be wrong (which I rarely am), but this seems very very suspicious. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Nazis were involved somehow.
Yes, because a Japanese man is going to be part of a white supremacy group, Akira Toriyama is most definitely a Nazi

If you think that's bad, go to urbandictionary's page for it. There's so much ignorance.
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

I don't see a problem with it. Freedom of speech. Bam, there you go. Nothing should be done about it, there's nothing to feel about it.

Wow. Until I read this thread, I had no idea any of this existed.

These sites, to me, seem like a giant waste of Life. Who wants to spend that talking about something they hate? I mean, if the site was based humorusly, then it might be acceptable. Even so, there are so many better things to do than troll around on the internet like this.

What's the difference between spending time talking about something you hate and spending time talking about something you love? It's the same thing on the other end of the spectrum. I think both are a waste of "life" if you ask me. It's okay if you do it for like an hour a day or something, but if you're spending all day online talking about something, either way, if you love it or not, it's a waste of life.

I wouldn't say they are the same thing at all.

People here generally want to discuss stuff in the show, speaking about what makes them love it, and it generally makes them feel happy to be speaking about something they like.

But what's the point of spending time on something you hate? Best case scenario for that is other people start hating with you. Haters websites only serve to bring people down. Generally, they are trying to beg the question how people like the show. I don't see anyone here questioning how people could hate it.

I don't know if this get's my point across, since I'm not very smart with this kind of stuff, but I just feel that showing love for something and dedicating time to hate are not really comparable.

It's like comparing giving someone a hug and shooting someone in the foot.

It's really the same thing. Some people find pleasure in building something up, some people find pleasure in breaking something down. And them finding people who would agree with them feels good for them. For example, while you might take pleasure in discussing the great music in the show, they could take great pleasure in talking about how the music sucks, and finding others that actually agree.

Read what I wrote above your post. You're speaking from your perspective. How many people have made Threads about the dub and GT and everything they hate? Think about that.

Thing is, you find it silly while some other people find it to be very entertaining. You outta know how many people enjoy bashing something and burying it.

The funny thing is that they never hate it because of the manga, but the anime solely.

Because most people are exposed to the Anime first, and THEN go for the Manga. But if they didn't like the Anime, why even go there? Besides, I doubt if they picked up the Manga they'd go, "Ooh! This is actually really good!"

Yeah. It's like when I don't like a show, and everyone says "Oh, if you only got to THIS part of the story RIGHT HERE, you'd love it!"

And then I'll say, "Oh, so you thought it was crap for the last 36 episodes too, and just forced yourself to watch through it too?"

Generally speaking, they didn't.

Some people like some things for stupid reasons. Hell, I know I do. I actually find myself watching and enjoying Disney Channel cartoons. Nickelodeon. Cartoon Network.

Hell, I'm on a forum SPECIFICALLY discussing a kid's show from Japan that is 20 years old.

Because of that people rather are glued in front of the TV nowadays instead of reading letters in book-form.
It's too hard to do.
You can see it on their spelling too.

Another interpretation is that people are entitled to their opinions when it comes to purely subjective matters, and they aren't necessarily slobbering neanderthals if they don't dive into a franchise in every form that exists to see if they enjoy THAT version of something they didn't like in another form.
