I actually posted some info on this game in my Complete Listing of Japanese Dragonball Video Games thread not too long ago.
I guess the game was released 1991, at the 91 JUMP VICTORY FESTIVAL, and is an extremely rare item.
---------------------------------------------
Interestingly enough, there was a similar special limited edition re-release of another Dragoball Z Famicom game: Dragonball Z - Kyôshū! Saiya-jin.
The game is also owned by Kami Sama Explorer [kamisamaexplorer@ig.com.br] who's site can be visited over at http://kamisama.com.br/ .

There were actually only 90 copies of this edition of the game ever made, so it is by far one of the rarest pieces of Dragonball merchandise out there.SSj_Rambo wrote:Dragonball Z: Kyoshyo Saiyajin - 90 Limited Edition [????]

I dare somebody to make an offer of $10.
They'll have to accept it, nobody's going to buy it...

Yes, the first game I posted about and the game that the thread is based on, are the exact same game.shinmaru wrote:Thanks but are this 2 the same?? http://kamisama.com.br/ looks pretty neat as a site.
Site looks like Spanish, but not quite. I can read some of it.
I think it's the same one as Rambo said, but what kind of game is it? RPG, fighting, or anything else?

Ya, the site owner is from Brazil, so it is all in Portugese. It is a pretty cool site, kind of dated, but has tons of cool info, and images of hundreds of rare products from around the world.Forgotten Hero wrote:http://kamisama.com.br/ looks pretty neat as a site.

And the game seems to be an RPG that covers the entire Freeza Arc.

Dang, at that price I expected it to be complete in mint condition.
I don't buy any games without boxes and manuals, let alone spend $5000 on a collectable game without them.

Yeah. That's one of those 'rare' limited edition cartridges. I saw one of those sell for around $500 on eBay back in 2003. It seems the price has went a bit since then. Well, it IS one of the rarest game cartridges out there.
It isn't the only DBZ gold cart out there, though.

At this point in time, and without the box or manual, no. I could understand $500, but not $5000. Maybe in 50 years or so, or after some major (I mean bigger than anything that has happened or been anounced in the last 10 years) Dragonball event.Forgotten Hero wrote:Cool thanks!SSj_Rambo wrote:And the game seems to be an RPG that covers the entire Freeza Arc.
Honestly...Do you guys think this game is worth $5000?
