Anywho, on with episode 35! Hurray for Muscle Tower goodness.
Judging from what you said and the part I have highlighted in bold, it seems that you don't support the dub releaces and get your subbed Dragonball episodes illigally which is wrong since supporting the official Dragonball DVD releases is what you should be doing for the great subtitle job done by Funimation.
Meh, just got home from the shittiest day of work. This made my day I guess.

The last, full Dragonball "episode" I watched was the new special, apart from that... I watched a Gotenks vs Super Buu episode, not sure which episode number.

For some reason, I've always loved this fight. It was the first exposure I had with DBGT, and I was absolutely stunned by the animation and everything about it. I think I watched this as early as '96 or '97. Ah, the times when I tought DBGT would be so amazing...

That's nice to see.

It's usually the people who make these accusations that are in the wrong themselves.

In any case, it's not Funimations job on the subtitling that should make one guilty for watching DB illegally, but to Toriyama since he is the one who should be praised, still, Funimation are milking the show to the max, why could they not have released DB/Z in it's uncut form from the get go, with the Japanese BGM as an option from the start? They are as bad as the people who ripped the whole series, I don't even think Toriyama would give a crap about people downloading episodes, he'd probably be more happy that people around the world are watching the manga he created 20 odd years back.

Yes let's not pay the people who bought the film masters put them on a disk dubbed the show/subtitled paid for packaging and mass produced it. Toriyama may not care since his house is made of money but by illegally downloading the episodes it's taking money away from a lot of other people. (This isn't even going into the people who originally produced the show.)

I will openly admit I supported bootlegs at one point after those season sets came out. I was really pissed off and this was my jejune way of getting back at Funi however it wasn't just Funi's money I was stealing it was many other companies as well. Not to mention by buying bootlegs from the Chinese market most of the time it supports their mafia which was another big reason I decided to stop.

I watched the new special when it first premiered online. Since then, I've stuck to the manga. I've recently lodged volumes into my textbooks to read at class. It really makes lectures fly by.

Episode 210 (Japanese: Not Bad Little Trunks / English: The World Tournament)

Currently watching through the Season 7 set, since I just bought the Season 8 set and thought I should catch up  (also still need to watch through Part 02 of Ouran High School Host Club). I think I've only seen these episodes twice before (once raw on the International Channel, once dubbed on Cartoon Network), so it's nice to watch them again. The Saiyaman stuff was funnier than I remembered ^_^

Episode 41 of Dragonball GT.

Absolutely atrocious for various reasons, most prominently the animation. However, I pretty much enjoyed all of the episodes leading up to it (The Baby saga, not the Black-Star saga).

Looking forward to enjoying the rest of this series at a nice, leisurely pace.

Ok putting it that way does make you have a bit more respect for Funi, after all if it weren't for them DBZ would not be as popular as it was in Japan. Things like changing the BGM is seen by many as a bad thing, why do it? But I suppose credit could be due as they actually had the bother to create an entire score, and leave out the original. They obviously were devoted in their own way, and naturally, their main objective is to make money, you don't have to buy what they are releasing or re-releasing after all.

Not to mention that by all these releases in this present time, it's slightly draws in more fans, as DVD's are still being made and selling, some people will see it as something new or that they haven't seen before, there's tons of fanswho didn't watch it back in the day, and the recent uncut versions have made some people think differently of the show, access to these uncut episodes at one point was really rare, especially the early part of DBZ, that is, unless you had the interent, another thing that is growing much more popular and allowing more people to learn more about the show.
