Is it wrong that I completely LOVED that movie 8 clip. I really would like to own that on DVD.

For some reason I dig some of the voice choices. The acting was slightly better than the movie 3 clips that I kept seeing of that dub.

Still Funi overall does a much better job, but this is just, awesome for some reason.

Also I noticed the whole everyone talks at the same volume weirdness that almost makes it seem like the same guy does half the voices.

I've got the DVDs released in Sweden, which are movies 1-9, trunks and bardock specials. Most of them have the this english dub, although a couple don't, I know movie 8 has it. Anyone that is interested in these movies, pm me.

Yes, this dub is awful. It's horrible, it's a mockery of the series, and I can't see how anyone can actually find it enjoyable beyond it's "so bad it's good" qualities. That's also the case with the FUNi dub, and I feel really sorry for Americans and Europeans alike, having recieved such an awful "reimagining" of the series.

And since no one seems to have a problem mocking this dub as the abomination it is, I don't see why there should be a problem doing the same with the equally bad FUNi dub.

Whee.

Who said I was a dub fan?

And really, as bad as the FUNi version may be, you can't really say it's on par with that. If that were the only available version in my area, I'd be dying to import the R1s.

Except we already went over in page 1 or 2 how when the Funi Dub WAS bad in Season 3 and part of Season 4, it was still Mozart compared to this. I'll repeat myself:

Old Funi dub is bad.
Big Green Dub sounds like an Abridged Parody

I'd rather have a bad dub than something that sounds like its from Abridged.
