Like the kazenban tributes, wouldnt you like to see Noburo Watsuki(Kenshin), Masami Kurumada(Saint Seiya) and Kentaro Mirurai(Berserk) draw Goku and company?

How about American artist just for curiousity reasons and that some of them might make it look good like Jim Lee, Joe Madureira, Mark Bagely, Bryan Hitch, John Romita Jr, John Romita Sr, Marc Silvestri, David Finch, or Chris Bachelo.

And just to get a good laugh, some artist that make the characters look bad or traced from celebrities like Rob Liefeld and Greg Land(man DBZ goku with his face trace from Chatwin's face and body, or Tenshinhan traced from Van Diesel and Vegeta traced from Hugh Jackman). It would make you wanna go LAANNNNDDDD!!!!(inside joke for those who see Greg Land obvious artistic flaws that make you want to scream).

I would die to see Takeshi Obata draw a Dragon Ball scene...though maybe I should just do do that sketch in his style myself :D

For American artists, I guess it would be anyone of these:
E. J. Su
Don Figueroa
Alex Milne
Guido Guidi
Nick Roche

They worked on the Transformers: Generation One comic from IDW Publishing and looks pretty nice.

Ed McGuinness(superman, deadpool, and Hulk) would draw a good Goku, Piccolo, Cell, Vegeta, ect

Arthur Adams would also do good on the characters.

Micheal Turner would make a interesting style for the DBZ character despite his faces and body types but he's still a great artist. (RIP, he will be missed)

Joe Madureira. I'd love to see his interpretation of an Oozaru.

Masashi Kishimoto(Naruto) or Kiyohiko Azuma(Azumanga Daioh, Yotsuba&!) drawing original Dragon Ball.

Naruto really doesn't look all that great, but that's mostly me being indifferent of it's general plot; if Naruto was written with a better script, I'd probably be less critical of it's art style. But I really loved Kishimoto's contribution to LANDMARK. Azuma is just a great mangaka in general, and the "cartoony" feel of Dragon Ball would only be brought out more with her.

As for Z, I'd say Shirow Miwa(Dogs) or Tite Kubo(Zombie Powder, Bleach) because they're just amazing at intense fight scenes.

I'd love to see what Shirow Masamune could do for Dragon Ball, though he probably hates it.

He'd make #18 like 10 times hotter at least...

I'd like to see Craig McCracken have a go at a cartoony style, or even Bruce Timm at a slightly more realistic cartoon style.

I've already seen him draw it, but I'd love to see Mr. Oda write a Dragon Ball story; I admire his storytelling skills. X3

I'd get a kick out of seeing Alex Ross do a DragonBall piece. I like seeing more realistic interpretations of characters that are normally cartoony. On a similar note, it'd be cool to see Shinkiro's version as well.
Oh...and it'd be awesome to see what Yoshitaka Amano would do with it.

Kazuki Takahashi, imagine what Goku, Bulma etc would look like if they had to play Children's Card games.

Otherwise maybe a sequel to Cross Epoch.

Dragonball and Dragonball crossover/spin-off manga is the only manga I have ever read, so the only other artists I would like to see draw Dragonball are some of my favorite comic book artists (I've only really read Dark Horse's Alien and Predator comics (my collection is badass! and for sale  ), so I have a pretty limited selection to choose from).

1) My first choice would be Denis Beauvais. His style definitely isn't like Toriyama-sama's, and he puts great detail into each and every panel. He is also very good at illustrating explosions and energy-esque attacks and blasts. His watercolor atrwork is simple breathtaking, and I think it would look great in Dragonball... like the color chapters, but more modern and detailed.

example- example- example

2) My next choice would be Mark A. Nelson, who has done some of the earliest and most revolutionary Aliens artwork. He works in black and white, which is why he came to my mind first when I was thinking who could best imitate the original. He too has great attention to detail and some amazing backgrounds, which makes me think he would do a great Namek Saga. His fast action style and amazing skill when it comes to drawing fight sequences make me think he would do a wonderful interpretation of the Jinzoningen and Majin Buu arcs, where the fighting most matches what he can draw (in his early Aliens comics at least).

example- example- example (if anyone is interested, I could scan some of his un-colored works)

YES. I didn't even think of that!
For all the flack that FUNimation gets on this forum for their quote about DBZ, there's some modicum of truth to it: a 9-year-old is born every day. Or in some cases, "reborn". DBZ may be a kids' show, but it's been so close to so many hearts all over Japan, America, and quite possibly, even the world.
I curious to see jack kirby style Goku and yeah I like the Bruce Timm idea. Jim Lee did drew Nartuo in his myspace along with Sailor moon and all the comments are asking him to draw DBZ. h

Other then the ones already seen in the Kanzenban, I would want Kagami Yoshimizu or CLAMP just for lulz.

Jhonen Vasquez for no particular reason other then it would look really fucking funny. Not to mention making him dedicate all his time to 42 issues of Dragonball would result in one awesomely crazy Vasquez.
Aro started to laugh. “Ha, ha, ha,” he chuckled.- Actual quote from Twilight

Aw. I was hoping he was going to lean more towards his own style as opposed to semi-emulating the source's style.

Denis Beauvais and Mark A. Nelson, the 2 artist that SSJRambo mentioned would draw a really scary 3rd form Freeza and first form Cell. Like those scuptures I saw that show how scary they can be if they were to separate from Toriyama's style.

I remember Wizard did a East vs West issue where Goku fights Superman and the coverart is done by Scott Campell while the interior, the artist is unknown to me.

Bruce Timm did drew Sailormoon in his own style, here's the pic.

That redirects to Disney.com for some reason.

Anyway, Azumanga Dragonball would be both cute and hilarious, so let's go with that. :D
