Well, just because piccolo got a hold of a Saiyan, and coincidentally another landed on earth, doesn't mean the Piccolo takes on Freeza's role.

Honestly, I really hope they do the Ginyu force, they could ditch Zarbon, Dodoria, and Kui, and I would be fine with that.

Also Krillin and Gohan are easily added in a sequel. Gohan obviously being Goku's son, and Krillin could be Goku's Student, or of Master Roshi lives through the movie, his student.

Dragonball Revolution: Starring Justin Chatwin, introducing Christian Bale as Bardock. When Piccolo enforms Son Gokû that his homeworld of Planet Vegeta is leading a resistance against the evil Freeza it is up to him, Rôshi, Yamcha, and Piccolo to help the Saiyan resistance. Also starring Ken Leung as Prince Vegeta! Coming to theaters Summer 2012!!

You've got your roles confused. Goku would have to team up against the Saiyans, and his Space-dad(those are always evil until the last second) with Freeza at his side.

They'd have trouble getting along because one is an alien and one is human, but through friendship and courage they'd find a way to compensate for their hilariously different takes on life.

Vegeta is his brother. The real reason Freeza kills King Vegeta is because he doesn't want his other son living a lie as someone else's child.
