Oho-ho, movie scripts are fun.
Nah, Freeza is Goku's father's brother's nephew's cousin's former roommate. Obviously.HoustonRH7 wrote:Because.....
Freeza is actually Goku's mother, Bardocks ex-lover, and the mother of Begeta, Goku, and Tullece.
Which means if they adapt the Cooler movies, Goku will have to kill his own Uncle!
Only for the third film, "Goku and the King of Space Thieves".Kingdom Heartless wrote:But his voice will return, right?Super Ghost Kamikaze wrote:Goku wishes for Shenlong to be free. Chatku: "Please please please come see our movie. We know you usually hate it when America remakes your classic properties...and Masako Nozawa laughed at us...and there was that weird-ass vague statement from Toriyama and--"
Ah, that's when Goku finds out his father is the prince of all Saiya-jin.Super Ghost Kamikaze wrote:Only for the third film, "Goku and the King of Space Thieves".Kingdom Heartless wrote:But his voice will return, right?Super Ghost Kamikaze wrote:Goku wishes for Shenlong to be free. For the record, any idea how they will be pronouncing Saiya-jin in it?
Seriously. It's just a short promotion. I think he's trying a bit TOO hard to mock it now. It's starting to get a bit sickening...JAPPO wrote:You're just hearing what you want to hear.
Jappo, meet humor. Humor, meet JappoJAPPO wrote:You're just hearing what you want to hear.
Yeah, but in the correct way (per standard English pronunciation), which is "SIGH-yan," or the incorrect pronunciation from the FUNimation dub, "SEI-yan"? I'm banking on "SEI-yan" because it's the more recognized pronunciation in the United States.I would suspect "Saiyan."
Yeah, I try to avoid being negative here, but I agree.SSj Kaboom wrote:Seriously. It's just a short promotion. I think he's trying a bit TOO hard to mock it now. It's starting to get a bit sickening...JAPPO wrote:You're just hearing what you want to hear.

Sadly, stuff like this always polarizes a fanbase. I think the problem arises from people taking jabs personally (i.e. - "He's mocking the movie, and I think it looks good, hence he's mocking me personally"). To me, I'll defend or criticize things quite a bit, but I rarely take/intend such things to be personal. I may question the way people think, but I don't outright assault them.Kingdom Heartless wrote:Ah, it's not so much you, personally.
It's just, I'm still new at this online fandom stuff. I guess I just wasn't prepared for the fact that people will find negativity in every aspect of the series.
Don't look for it to stop anytime soon. Doubtlessly, the movie will bring an influx of new people who are just as passionate on both sides. The movie will be released, things will flare up, and if a sequel gets greenlighted the cycle will start anew. And obviously the negativity is at its strongest here, with the live action movie, so I've just been getting a little tired with it lately.
Are you kidding? As a whole, Daizex has to have one of the worst overall attitudes towards the film I've ever seen. Defenders of it around here are the minority, if anything.MajinVejitaXV wrote:DaizEX: Where any criticism about the movie, even completely harmless teasing about an awkward promo, will make people sneer at you like you sodomized their grandmother.

Honestly, what does that say about the film? Where people who welcome stunts like the Orange Bricks with open arms shun this? It's not a good sign, I'd say. Standards aren't insanely high here.SSj Kaboom wrote:Are you kidding? As a whole, Daizex has to have one of the worst overall attitudes towards the film I've ever seen.
