Well, here we are.

I wanted to wait a little bit before making this announcement. I tried contacting VegettoEX, but he never got back to me. If this thread is inappropriate for hosting episodes, by all means delete it.

Are you tired of pixilated encodes of Ocean Dub episodes? Do you want to rid of those Dutch subtitles?

Look no further.

I've been going through the series from the Android Saga and have decided to match up the footage with the 'remastered' footage. I know its technically not the best footage: that would be the Dragonboxes. For now though, this is the best footage I can use. I have the Cell Game Singles, though, which from that point on I will be using Dragonbox Singles. I will go back and do them all in Dragonbox quality.

The first post will give you the up to date status on this project and also for will contain the episodes. I will be setting up a site eventually for this project.

Status
Episode 115 done, moving on to 116. Movie 2 done, moving on to Movie 1.

I haven't watched the actual episodes yet but this seems like a really neat project. I always wanted to watch an entire Ocean episode (I usually just found clips here and there.)

Down the line could you stick them in a torrent? Directly downloading each one seems like it would be a pain.

I would enjoy more of the Ocean episodes where they picked up, but unfortunately, you can tell they really, really had to rush through all those episodes. Every line feels like it was the first or second take and that they were all phoning it in. Not to mention the borrowed music from the American Megaman show.

It's a real shame, too... Love a lot of that cast.

Yeah, at some point I'll be doing DVD ISO, which will cover a good amount of episodes, so that will be more convenient. The real problem with putting up a torrent for me is on my current iiNet plan, it counts uploads as well. Down the line, I'll try and do something for torrents, though.

KaiserNeko, I love the voice cast as well and feel like they should have gotten a better opportunity.

I will probably put a Wordpress page up soon for this.

shotkeeper, the audio is from actual Ocean episodes. The reason why I started this is because the only encodes of Ocean episodes have Dutch subtitles on them and almost all of them are in horrible pixillated quality, so I thought it deserved better audio quality.

Any chance you could use H264 instead of DivX or XviD or whatever mpeg-4 codec you're using now? The video quality on these is kinda bad.

Hmm ... I didn't think they looked to bad (110 is the worst), but I will encode one of the episodes as a test to see how much better the quality is. Watch this post.

Just a warning, when I went to download one of these episodes, a separate download box popped up over mine that was some spyware bullshit.

Alright. Well, I certainly didn't infect them. MegaUpload has been known to have questionable pop ups. Do you have a pop up blocker?

I think you should rip the audio by yourself and put the sound in STEREO before making the footage better.

I know you didn't put up the spyware. I am just warning people to pay attention. Because I own a mac, and when you go to download something a download box pops up, but before my actual download came up, some spyware program came up for download in the same box.

Umm... is this just the movie that had an actual physical, legal release?

I'm not downloading it to find out, so please let me know. I've been on the fence about letting this thread exist at all, but if now there's distribution of items that had legal releases, I'm definitely not going to let this continue any further. That's not OK.

I believe it's the footage from the double feature with the audio from pioneer's release. Could be wrong, though.
