Episode #0165! VegettoEX and Jeff end up doing another episode on their own, completely buried in news. What we thought were just a few tidbits about "DragonBall Kai" end up being an avalanche. Some other news like VizBig delays, a new French DVD boxset, and a few other items of interest keep things moving along. We happened to be streaming this episode live while we recorded, so we took some questions from the live audience to round out the episode! Referenced sites:

Hey, look... an episode! Since Meri was sick and Julian couldn't be around at a time when I was able to record the show (hectic weekend), I ended up recording it with Jeff after we finished up some lo-fidelity recording. We had been webcasting that live over on Stickam, so we figured we'd just keep it going and do this show live. Don't expect this on a regular basis... it's not something I can do with our typical set-up of Julian on Skype, but we may occasionally do it if the logistics allow for it.

I find myself listening to these the more news spills on DBK. I like hearing other people talk & speculate on new Dragon Ball. Makes me feel like I'm back in high school.

Gonna listen to this one right before bed tonight.

It feels so weird listening to a new episode having already heard it before it really came out. Comparing what I'm listening to with what I watched during the live recording was pretty interesting. Stuff like the small talk you and Jeff did like printing out the news for the news segment was pretty interesting, though understandable to be cut out.

I know you said that stuff like Skype would be weird to incorporate into the live recording, but if the case comes up again where you could pull it off, another live recording would be badass. Just make sure to tell your guys (and girls, heh, "equal opportunity") at the daizEX forums beforehand. Really, the only way I was able to catch the recording was because I follow your twitter.

It's a shame that Meri and Julian are yet again absent, but you and Jeff are interesting enough. Plus..... live audience. Drool.

This would be nice. I missed the first half because I didn't know about it until I woke up and someone in the IRC chat was talking about it.

I just noticed on daizex.com, shouldn't podcast be under multimedia?

We have plenty of reorganization to do. It'll come by 2067 when we re-design the site yet again, take another year off, and are substantially out of date with technology. Again.
