I don't remember movie 12's single to well, but movie 13's was absolutely littered with edge enhancement. There was a ton of rainbowing too. That's in addition to the horrible macroblocking already mentioned.

But since the double features have been getting better and better with each new release, they should be amazing for the final two films, so count me in as excited to see movie 12 with more accurate colors and a better transfer.

I remember just the other day I was watching Movie 13, and I freeze framed the scene where they summoned Shenron, and it's just hard to look at.

And the colors were fugly.
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

How are the Blu Ray versions to these movies? I'm thinking of picking this up tomorrow but I'd obviously rather have it on Blu Ray.

I actually didn't even notice any problems with the singles of 12 and 13, but I generally don't notice stuff like that.

Best Buy has em. I've been so behind on Dragonball I didn't even think they released anything on Blu Ray after the Brolli movies.

BTW, is the History of Trunks/Burdock Special on Blu Ray?

I just bought season 3 yesterday lol

For those curious, here's how the Movie 12 single stacks up to the Dragon Box (taken from Tsukento):

Hopefully, we'll get that level of improvement from the Double Feature as well.
