I think Nappa was such a funny character because at the time, he was the only one who could take on that role. Vegeta is the straight guy and there are tons of Earthlings to spread the funny around. Nappa kind of ended up with all the jokes, you know?

On Namek there are plenty of bad guys, so the jokes may end up being spread out between them more?

In other words, I think Nappa ended up with the spotlight because he was the only villain there that could.

I think with Nappa gone, there's probably more oppurtunity for Vegeta to be funny.

Vegeta seemed more like he was there to complement Nappa's jokes rather than create his own, especially in the latter episodes. Hopefully we'll see more funny with Vegeta, especially the banter between him and Goku.

I think Vegeta will be the straight man to Goku's nonsense. But that doesn't mean he won't end up with his own jokes, like Piccolo did.

But it should be funny all the same.

.. You know, I just realized. If they cover any of the part with the three young warriors who come to save Muuri and the children... I'm simply going to have to skip that part. That was worse than Pic dying in the rankings of upsetting- it ranks heavily above pretty much everything in the series for me < < I really do wish they'd skip it, but as it introduces Freezer... I doubt they really can. Damnit.

I kinda saw this coming then again who didn't? I was hoping to hear the "Memories" song from Megas XLR (the ending credits from the last episode in the first season) I don't know why. I just hear that song in my head at the moment.

So I completely agree. Just because Nappa's dead doesn't mean that Vegeta won't have to deal with idiots any more. Goku's back and the last time I checked he's not the smartest monkey around.

I think you're confusing it with the song that plays when Nappa flashes back to meeting the giant bug on Arlia for the first time. The song in Megas XLR doesn't mention memories.

Any chance of Nappa going all "force ghost" on Vegeta for an episode or two. *maybe from the recovering space ship ride, causing him to pass out from an aneurysm to "Are you awake Vegeta?" while he recovers in the glass, then, first chance he gets, maybe on Namek, he blows up Nappa's ghost, recycled footage style*

I know, he might not need a return, but seeing Vegeta's reaction, and satisfaction at more long term killing Nappa might be humorous.

Loving the abridged series so far (have all of your group's varying abridged series saved up and sorted in an Abridged folder. Hoping to see more Lupin the 3rd Abridged on your end at some point as well). I hope to see more from the series in the semi-near future.

Also, I know you, yourself, aren't exactly involved, but any word from Masako, Vegeta, or Lani on Tree of Might Abridged. According to Vegeta's last update on it, months ago, was that all it needed was mixing. Just thought I'd ask.

Is MasakoX's Gohan his natural voice? I mean, not pitched up or anything. If it is his natural voice, then awesome. That's probably the best child voice I've heard from a man.

No, I mean I know what his natural ( as in normal ) speaking voice is like... I mean his Gohan voice. Is it pitched up like Trey Parker and Matt Stone do on South Park? Or is that ALL his voice, not pitched up.
