In Mexico's dub, it was called "nube voladora" which translates to "Flying Cloud"

I got something new to post

"Kaio-Sama"

Once again, the Arabic changed his name to something... weird... and that is... "Neptune" ((WTF?!))

It's believed that it's a "mistranslation" done by the writers.

According to a post in youtube
OH thanks for your translation! Kaio is caled Neptune? In Japanese, Kaiosei(海王星:planet of the king of sea) maens Neptune, but his name is Kaio(界王:the king of world). So this is kind of a mistranslating or just "the king of world" reminds Muslims of Allah?

I think people just kept referring to him as "Your Majesty" in the AB Groupe English dub.

In the Swedish manga he is called Mäster Kaio (Master Kaio).
No more time for Daizex. Goodbye folks!

"Mester Kaio" in Norway and Denmark, too. And *sigh* "Deres Majestet" (Your Majesty) in the dub.

Castilian Spanish:

Kinto'un = Nube Mágica [anime] and Nube Kintón [manga]
Kaioh-sama = Kaito [anime] pretty sure they kept it Kaioh in the manga though... It's at my parents' house so I can't spot-check it.

Portuguese: "Dragão Sagrado" (Sacred/Holy Dragon)

I think he might have been referred as "Shenron" once in GT, during the Evil Dragon saga, but I'm not really sure.

"Shenlong" in both the Norwegian and Danish manga.
I think he might've been called something else in the Norwegian dub, can'tremember.

Karin-Sama

I don't remember what they called him in the Arabic dub, but I think they kept it as Karin ((I need to look for the DVD set to make sure))... but I remeber that they gave him a high pitch girly voice

Funny, Neptuno (Neptune) was the name East Kaioshin used in the Tenkaichi Budokai in Portuguese.

The American dubs (both FUNi and Ocean I believe) just stuck to Korin.

In Danish he was "Mester Kvæde", and in Norwegian "Mester Kvede", both derived from his German name, "Meister Quitte".

And no, I have no idea what any of these mean, or what they have to do with his original name.
