I was just wondering. Has anyone tried making a DB type series of their own? I'm kind of curious since AF was a fan based hype. Oh, if this is considered trash then deleat this, it probably seems wierd to a lot of people.

I did make my own mini series, but it could only work if I knew what happened to Launch and what happened in the last episode of GT.

By the way this is the last series because shortly after there is a big nebula thing and I'm sure it was important but it leads to destruction and we are sure it is permanent by the way Freeza is gleaming off of the return of no way out to be there is?

Around five years back I made my own Dragon Ball series. It wasn't original; it was a retelling of the Freeza to Cell story arc. I drew it for my friends and by the time I gave up, it was around 100 pages or something. Of course, although they seemed really great then, my art looks really crappy. Last year I started drawing a new series, this time about the alternate future timeline. It started off with Son Goku beating Freeza on Namek and then finally killing him on Earth. This series was actually pretty good and everyone who saw it thought I had ripped pages off a real Dragon Ball comic (of course, they might have been being nice). However, I gave up on this after inking the first few pages because I found inking to be a pain in the ass.
I'm planning another DB fan series, this one to take place in place of GT. It would be somewhat similar to GT's story, but it won't have any plot holes or whatnot. It's going to end with Goku becoming SSJ4, defeating Bebi, and then mysteriously disappearing as the planet blows up for no reason at all. But I'll probably give this one up after the first page or so.

When I was in Jr. High, [back in '97] I wrote a fan manga called Dragonball TT which stands for "Time Travel", where DB Chibi Goku goes forward in time and meets himself in the future. There Adult Goku trains him and makes Chibi Goku much stronger, thus making future Goku get a very significant boost of power and obtaining new levels of power.

Shut up, I know it sucks ass, but, hey, I was in Jr High for Christ's sake!

I'm glad people don't think this thread was wierd. Anyway, I would've posted the little fan manga thing I made in the first post, but I thought people would think the concept was stupid so I waited. But it's an episode guide and under it is a basic main point kind of thing to how it goes. I swear I have too much time on my hands. I originally was going to have it as an extension to GT, which is why the episode numbers continue from Until We Meet Again. And the reason they're very big numbers is because, as a result of great boredom, I typed every number and every English episode of DBZGT. I just added the episodes as if they were part of the actual series. But I later decided to call it DBDV, standing for Dragon Ball Deja Vu. The last saga is really a deja vu saga! Oh and Pinhead, you really wrote 100 pages worth of DBZ??

That's a lot!! Well, here's my mini manga, what do you guys think? And do they sound like real episodes?

-New Namek is being attacked by Space Pirates w/ Black Star Balls. 18 & Goku search ships to see a black star ball. Find Moori who says that the balls scattered.
-18 & Goku go back to Earth and get Giru. Search the sea avoiding New Namekian wales & sharks. Find 3 Star Ball.
-They find an Island with a smoking volcano. Enter & dodge disasters. Find 2 Star Ball.
-The volcano erupts & they escape. They find a cave and dodge bats & falling rocks. Find 7 Star Ball.
-They scout and find New Namekian village, were #4 is. An underground cavern has #6. Stuck in a tree is #5. Almost found by a space pirate is #1.
-Everything gets silent and the sky slowly darkens. Black Star Dragon was summoned. Goku & 18 take ball and fight off space pirates.
-Porunga is summoned. 18 wishes back 17. 17 accidentaly wishes back Cell. Cell tells Porunga that no more wishes were wanted, Porunga leaves.
-Goku goes Super Saiyan 4. 18 and 17 watch. Goku easily beats Cell.
-18 and 17 fuse to become Super Android Launchlee. They help Goku beat Cell.
-Cell absorbs Launchlee becoming Super Cell. He beats Goku.
-Dende calls Goku to Lookout. He & Popo give him upgraded Kai earings. Goku goes to Capsule Corp and gets Vegeta. They go to New Namek.
-Angry Vegeta goes after Super Cell. Super Cell beats Vegeta. Vegeta has a fit. Goku and Vegeta fuse into Vegito. Vegito & Super Cell begin fighting.
-Once again, their powers are even. Super Vegito and Super Cell are using their full power. Vegito goes Super Saiyan three. Vegito begins killing Super Cell.
-An earing is knocked off, Vegito defuses. Cell destroys one w/ a Death Beam. Vegeta & Goku go Super Saiyan 4 and each can barely fight Super Cell.
-Vegeta punches Super Cell in the back. Goku punches him in the stomach. Super Cell spits out Launchlee. Goku and Vegeta beat Cell.
-Cell sees the Black Star Balls. He flys over and summons Black Star Shenron. He wishes for androids 16 & 19 to come to New Namek. Everyone fights Cell.
-#19 formes tempory truce and tells Goku he's Chiaoutzu's dad, who gave him up. #16 says he was a fighter in the first Martial Arts Tournament.
-Cell absorbs 19 and 16, regaining previous power. He fights Goku and Vegeta.
-Goku does a Spirit Bomb. Vegeta powers it w/ a Big Bang Attack. Goku goes behind Super Cell and does most Powerful Kamehameha. Super Cell falls to ground.
-Super Cell is barely alive. He gets up and stalls for time. Launchlee awakes and goes up to Goku & Vegeta. They explain and then lose power. Cell begins fighting.
-Eventually, Goku starts a Kamehameha, Vegeta starts Final Flash, & Launchlee starts Dark energy ball. Goku & Vegeta go Super Saiyan 4 and kill Super Cell.

-Cell returns to HFIL and notices that Frieza is gone.
-Frieza steals Kai Earings and returns to HFIL.
-Cell and Frieza fuse, then they go to Earth.

-Friezall easily defeates Goku, Vegeta, Goten, and Trunks.
-Vegito and Gotenks fuse into Gogenta. Gogenta easily beats Friezall.
-Vetenko defuses, then Vegito and Gotenks defuse due to a half hour of fusion.
-Gohan heads to Dende's Lookout and trains in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.
-Tien & Yamcha sense the battle. Launchlee flys over to stall for time.
-After a few hours, Gohan emerges, having regained his mystic power (from Buu saga).
-Gogenta, Launchlee, and Gohan battle Friezall.
-Everyone is equal to Friezall, no ones' stronger.
-King Kai goes to Other World & contacts Piccolo telling him to open a potal with him.
-Frieza is sucked into a potal, defused by King Yemma, and refrozen in HFIL then buried underground in the prison.

-Goku remembers the wish made on the Black Star Dragon Balls on New Namek by Cell.
-Goku, Pan, Trunks, Vegeta, Piccolo, and Giru evacuate New Namek.
-W/ all on Earth, New Namek explodes. The New Namekians, even Piccolo, reflect on memories of King Piccolo, Frieza, and Dende. He even visits.
-Goku summons Shenron and Namek 3 is made. Goku helps the Namekians get to Namek 3.
-Namek Three is slowly desolving into the sky, & there's a giant black disc in it. Goku is called over.
-Goku eventually finds it's a black hole and tries stopping it. The whole episode is him trying to stop it.
-The black hole gets closer and Goku gets more frantic, w/ the Namekians panicking. Goku is sucked into the hole but teleports to Earth just in time. Namek 3 is doomed.
-A year later, Goku summons Shenron and wishes for a 4th Namek and the Namekians to be brought back to life and teleported to Namek 4. He helps them adjust.
-Goku stays on Namek 4 for a while, and soon notices it's unstable. Volcanoes, floods, earthquakes, ect. He saves some Namekians & villages from disasters.
-Goku evacuates Namek 4 and once again puts Namekians on Earth. Meanwhile, he, Pan, and Giru get the dragonballs.
-Goku, Pan, and Giru find the remaining dragonballs, then head back to the Namekians to summon Shenron.
-Shenron is summoned but cannot grant the wish for a 5th Namek. So he's sent back to sleep and Porunga is summoned. Porunga creates Namek 5.
-Goku goes with the Namekians to Namek 5. Goku stops a meteor & a meteor shower from pelting Namek 5. Moori & the Namekians make Goku their God.

Basically, I use my Desructoes characters to pose as some of the DB ones, use sounds and stuff from video files I got on my computer, some sketching and movie making, and voila ... small vidoe clips! I made a few non-DB related if you are interested!

Super_Slinkytto seems to be the wrong URL. The files should also be ASF, not AVI, since that's what they're really encoded as. They wouldn't play for me at first, but once I called them ASF, they worked just fine.

EDIT: In all my techno-babble I forgot to tell you that the videos were great.

I've worked on a FF related story that has DBZ elements in it. By FF related I mean it takes a lot of elements from various FF's (characters, monsters, events, places etc.) and puts them in a new world along with a few custom characters I've made based on myself and friends. The hero of the story has been chosen to wield super-human powers to fight the forces of darkness. However he hasn't fully mastered it yet. But when he does, he will be able to transform into a form loosely based around SSj (except he has wings and white hair), can fly (due to the wing), gets a huge strength, speed and resistance enhancements and able to manipulate his chi.

I had a doujinshii planned, but I've kind of cancelled it because my art sucks and life got in the way. It was called Dragon Ball Origins (or DBO), and had four Sagas:

King Baby Saga
------------------
The story of how Baby came into power back on Plant, and the battle between the Saiyans and Tsufulians.

Red Ribbon Revenge Saga
------------------------------
The story of Shunichiro and Meri, twin siblings who were conned into working for Dr. Gero, and later became Androids 17 and 18, respectively. Also offers some backstory to the Red Ribbon Army, including finally showing Copper Shoogun.

Bibidi Saga
--------------
Includes the tales of Bibidi's quest to create the ultimate world-destroying monster, including the seige on Kaisei.

Conclusion Saga

I didn't think all that far into it, but it included Goten and Paris' son, Gohamma, Trunks and Marron getting hitched, a new Shenron, and Dende being killed by a new and mysterious villain, but not before he hatched three children, including a rebirth child ala Piccolo.

I made one years ago, which was extremely stupid. It basically starts out with Vegeta and Goku fighting in a random mountain-type area, and after a while, Vegeta nearly wins, but then Piccolo shows up for no reason at all, and uses the Makankosappo. Vegeta gets pissed off and yells at Piccolo for a bit, but then Goku seems to have gotten Potara earrings from god knows where! So then he fuses with Piccolo and beats up Vegeta with the 'Kamekosappo'. Then Vegeta stealsone of the earrings and they defuse. Vegeta runs off to somewhere to find a suitable training partner. Then, Kaioshin appears and gives Goku and Piccolo more Potara earrings. Vegeta then returns, fused with Mirai Trunks, and fights Picarot for a bit. Then some weird alien person with a cannon shoots at them, powering them down. Vegeta kills it, but it turns out to be Freeza and Cell. Freeza kills Mirai Trunks. Vegeta kills Freeza and Cell. Then, for yet again, no reason at all, a time portal opens and sucks Vegeta in. There, he meets a Goku with a metal arm, who tells him about on OMGWTF new threat that turns everyone into robots. Vegeta goes back through the portal and kills this 'new threat' with a single blow, and the fight ends. Goku then goes to Capsule Corp to tell Bulma that Mirai Trunks died. Bulma then uses the time machine to go back in time to the fight, and goes Super Bulma, then kills Freeza, then nearly gets killed. Then a load of other crap happens which I can't remember. I think it had Gotenks in there somewhere.
