They are real pretty.

Don't care for the disc packaging though. Can't stand getting discs in and out of those things.

Wow, thanks for finding these! Strange how the third pack features the same cover image as FUNi's DBZ season 3 box.

Smexy! Now, let's see some screencaps *hopes*
For all the flack that FUNimation gets on this forum for their quote about DBZ, there's some modicum of truth to it: a 9-year-old is born every day. Or in some cases, "reborn". DBZ may be a kids' show, but it's been so close to so many hearts all over Japan, America, and quite possibly, even the world.
What is Raditz doing in the Freeza Saga? :P

Is anybody reminded of ARDBZ?

Either it's misplaced or its from that flashback I despise.

Indeed... I think the colors are all right (slightly oversaturated), but seems to be a lotta macroblocking or jpeg compression... possibly both?

Neat! Personally for me however, I prefer the season sets over these.

Much better than the quality in the French movie boxset! The quality looks decent... what are the reactions over at Mangamyth?

I'm going to need to see some png images to pass the final judgment. Also, You can't judge these releases until you see them in motion. I thought the Spanish DVD screencaps looked great until I saw the video. It still looks really nice but it had quite a bit of ghosting.

On these sets the image seems a bit washed out, but overall not bad at all.

Here's the thread where these images are from:

http://www.mangamyth.fr/viewtopic.php?t ... &start=105

I guess even the master Genki isn't very pleased with the video quality of this release... And by the way, the screenshots were taken with PowerDVD 4.0, in case anyone was wondering.

I couldn't tell for sure (since I don't speak French), but I think Genki is working on Dragon Box comparison screenshots!

Lol, Genki doesn't seem pleased with anything but the Dragonboxes, personally, I'm pleasently surprised, although the compression seems to be a bit too high :(.

Unfortunately, the quality is,according to what Genki said, equal to DVD HK,or even worse :(

What's a real pity is the encoding quality. Macro blocks everywhere.
