Anyone else noticed how well Heroic Trunks fits with this?

Episode 121

Heroic Trunks

Play the Heroic Trunks theme after the title card music and you'll see that it syncs perfectly. Although Scott Morgan told me in a PM that that wasn't the original take on the scene, the song syncs perfectly and it's just an incredible coincidence how it does.

Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

You're right, it does! The song ends with Trunks looking at King Cold. Epic!

Yeah, all of the changes in the melody happen during transitions in the scenes, and they fit the situation. Maybe Scott Morgan just doesn't remember doing that scene, or Bruce Falconer was just being secretive.

Hell, the melody goes perfectly in time with the various camera cuts when Trunks moves his hand to blow Frieza up. Hell, the end of the song directly leads in to the next song.

Nah, watch the Trunks Trailer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WsxewUaye60

There's musical hit after hit after hit in there. I can blab about how I was there and actually played guitar for the theme and how we didn't have a single Trunks episode in the studio yet when that was written...but just watch the way the music lines up to the Promo and I think it's pretty obvious it was written for that.

(In fact that's the only time it was actually used for Trunks because they needed it right away to put on the preceding videos, they hadn't had time to reject the theme yet.)

That is by far the best dub song.

However it does kinda fit with that part and I think it'd made that scene far more cooler :D

I just checked out Scott's new song "Future's Sword" on YT. Just amazing.

Hmm, cool stuff. But what made you initially even think of playing that piece of music over that particular episode?

It just seemed like it could fit, so I just experimented to see.

Why the hell didn't they use this song for this scene? It fits so well! Great find!

The music that they did use just didn't really fit and made the scene slow and boring.
