That would show that Goku trained against them in SSj, but it might be really good doujinshi.
Yeah, I'm not saying he didn't train against them as an SSj, just that he didn't right when they began training.

Oh, OK, I gotcha. Can anyone confirm if that is legit or not?

It's not. We never see any of the Z fighters train during those 3 years.

Come to think of it...

Goku, Gohan, and Piccolo trained with each other.

Vegita trained inside a gravity chamber.

Tenshinhan did his usual thing.

Kuririn trained with Muten Roshi.

What exactly could Yamcha do? More of the same?

I know, what people are saying is it was added into the new Kanzenban version. I've never seen a doujinshi artist that could copy Toriyama's art style so well.

The first question that comes to my mind is "What would ever inspire Toriyama to add in such a useless panel?". Unless you can think of a good explanation I don't see any reason to believe it's official.

The same question can be applied towards Vegita's mumblings on the new ending of the manga.

In the anime, he first tried using gym equipment to get stronger, until he realized that he was too strong for that to be any good (after oggling the arobics class, and destroying the machine)

Later he's shown doing some regular exercise at the CC; then foolishy attempts to do the same level of gravity training as Vegeta (400x) and nearly kills himself. A little later he see's Vegeta's determination to train, despite his injuries, and goes on a "training journey" with Puer.

Ah, yes, I remember that.

Although "training journey" with Puar gives me bad memories of FF.net... :(

Let's just say that it's something the fangirls loved.

Um..........I seem to have lost track of things here. What has any of this got to do with the fusion dance:?: Anyway, I think Goku was able to go SSJ at will during the three years because Trunks was able to (he was waiting around for ages before Goku arrived without any evidence of preparation and if he'd raised his ki before Freeza arrived or practised going SSJ, the Z senshi would have sensed him) and Goku was stronger than Trunks.

Internet forums tend to go off-topic rather quickly. You shouldn't be surprised. :)

We have no idea how much Trunks had trained in the future, but he most likely got enough training in on that form to transform readily. With the dangerous situation he lived in, it's completely understandable. To add on to that, we never see him have any issues with transforming in any of the battles he's involved in.

As far as Goku goes, yes, I still believe what I posted before.

I haven't seen the episode in a while, but didn't Vegeta watch Goku and Piccolo demonstrate the fusion dance to Goten and Trunks as well as when they tried it the first few times on Dende's Lookout?
Gerry Dragan (yes, that's my real name.)

No, by that time, he'd already self-destructed.
