I heard this was in one of the Kanzenban:

Is that legit, or did a wizard do it? I really need to know.

I'm thinking it might be within the three years of training for the Androids. The reasoning behind this is...well Piccolo fighting a SS Goku. Better evidence is Goku is a Super Saiyan but look at his clothes. He has the symbols and a belt that he ties. Starting at the Androids saga Goku doesn't wear that at all. Also I'm sure within those 3 years Piccolo would want to see how he faired against a Super Saiyan.

The art looks similar, but if you look closely, there are tiny details in which this doujin's art is different than Toriyama's. But I thought it was real, too.

Take a closer look at Piccolo's facial shot, and the way his hands are drawn when he fires a blast. Then study Goku's folds in his clothing a bit. It's really not that incredibly similar to Toriyama's style.

And if I'm not mistaken, this is a page from a ''Head Cha La'' doujinshi volume, yes?

Come to think about it ... 5-fingered Piccolo! I remember few of the last mangas with 4-fingered Piccolo (ie that the style hasn't changed for some time!).
