On Jurassic Park- the actual cgi Dinosaurs are only on screen for about two minutes. Most of the shots of dinos were puppets and audio-animatronics, including a full-sized Tyrannosaurus. They looked so gorgeous even now because Awesome Puppets > CGI.

The old Street Fighter movie with Jean-Claude Van Damme is terrible, true. But it's possibly the funniest movie I've ever seen. I can never manage to think badly about it, because every time I try to I just picture Zangief standing there all confused asking "Bison.... bad?" and I can't stop laughing. (Animated SF movie is ungodly badass, just as a note)

I haven't seen DBE yet as I'm waiting uneasily for the release date, to know if I have somebody to go with. So I'll be able to give a fully informed review when I actually get there. Will I be biased? Hell yes, I'm always biased about the thing I love most. It'll probably be painful. But... I just have to see when I get there.

I imagine if you saw Twister today, you'd realize just how bad it is. It's a huge joke of a movie.
I'm not ready for this.

Twister is definitely in "so bad it's good" territory. Just like Armageddon.

*has both on DVD*

:shock:I saw the film this after noon and I can say to you that it is really invalid. Only to see oozaru and his transformation, me laughs at it. The end of the film is really bad, the fox did not shine on this blow. :?

Yeah, I heard that. It's funny how all the people before who were like "Where did the 100 million go to, the movie looks like it only cost 30-50 million!" Are now like, "Uh, so it was 45 million, it still looks like crap!"

45 million for today's Hollywood standard action movies is very low. I say action movies cause plenty of big hit movies are made for less, they just don't have special effects or action of any kind.

True, 45 million's not very much in regards to special effects, but that's no excuse for everything else. It takes zero dollars to write a good script.

This is true. I am currently writing a DB movie script for free, once I am done I'll post it up on here so everyone can read it, and hopefully like it. It's 60 pages so far and I am not even half way done.

It's a joke. Really, the 'Twilight' note sinches it. And that's way too fast to make a movie.

Even though it's an april fools joke, I honestly think Robert Pattison might be a decent choice for Vegeta. If he buffed up I mean. He can pull of the tough but disturbed individual.

But he'd only add on to the movies supposed "High-School Teenage Drama" theme. It's bound to make people think of the film franchise as more of a joke, than a serious adaptation. I'd rather them have somebody else, if they seriously decided to cast him.

I understand, but trust me, we could do FAR WORSE as far as casting for Vegeta goes.

But even so, it's unlikely that he would be cast because he is already the main star of another franchise. That's like casting Hugh Jackman as Wolverine and Superman.

No that's like casting Hugh Jackman as Goku!

NOTE: Remember when talk about the production of the live action movie had first began to surface(In maybe 2002 to 2004)? Ray Park was set to be Vegeta, and Hugh Jackman was set to be Son Goku(Why?!), right? Does anyone know why or how this version of the film had stopped production?

I'm pretty sure because none of that was official and was just some bizarre fan speculation.

Also, I have determined that the DB online community, outside of here, appears to be flat out morons.

I seriously watched two video reviews for this movie on youtube a few days ago and felt like killing myself.

One of the reviews was positive. Which was cool to see someone not bashing the shit out of the movie but he said the following thing which blew my mind.

"My one complaint with the movie is they call it the Kame Hame Ha. It's not the Kamehameha, it's the Kamayamaya Wave. I don't understand why they said it wrong!"

The second review, which was negative, was filled with the standard fan boy bashings but he lost all credibility with the following statements,

"Goku trains with Master Roshi to learn how to use his KAI" Yeah, he said Kai, and he repeated through the review. Also he said this.
"Goku turns in to a great ape, which he never did in the show, but they call it Ishru, what the fuck is Ishru, they never say that on the show. Goku says 'I am Ishru!' He isn't ishru, and he never turned into one."

I swear, there were a few other botches by both reviewers, but these are the people the represent our community, what a disgrace.
