Advance Adventure is out!
I just got it... and wow holy crap...this is like...the best DB game ever! Its so refreshing compared to the casual DBZ power up n' button mash brawlers! I consider this Dimp's redemption for the Budokai series. Its just great! Notice that all the kickass DB games are like on portable systems! Haha!
Also, you can play as Krillin! Not to mention, in the tournment mode, you can select Jackie Chun, Son Gohan, Tao Pai Pai and Tenshinhan, assuming you defeated them all in story mode. The game doesnt take long to beat, but its a damn good quality game.

Awww... no Yamcha? That's pretty neat about Tao Pai Pai, though. I believe this is the first DB game... ever... where you can play as Tao Pai Pai.Izlude wrote:Also, you can play as Krillin! I just started playing it, and not only does Goku yelp as he attacks (no cry for the Kamehameha, tho), but it opens with a nice GBA-synth'd Makafushigi Adventure. The in-game songs are random synth, so I figured that was all we were getting in terms of DB music.
But I just fought in the Tenkaichi Budokai, and while you fight Jackie Chun, it plays a version of Mezase Tenkaichi (the Tenkaichi insert song, if you couldn't guess)!!

I really want this game, the problm iseconomy.
Some moron appearantly decided releasing Zelda: Minish Cap, Tales of Symphonia and Metroid Prime 2 at pretty much the same time was a good idea.
Add the fact that games are about 150% more expensive here than in the US, and you'll see why my wallet doesn't like this.

Beat the game. It IS pretty short, but once you finish you can play again as Kuririn (horribly romanized as Kulylin), which is pretty cool. He has the Taio-ken instead of a giant Nyoibo spin for his L button attack, and unlike Goku, he can combo in the air (Goku only swings his Nyoibo once when you jump and attack). All in all I was very impressed, especially with the quasi-fighting enginge the game changes to for martial arts fights.
