Is this a good plan?
So, lately I've been wanting the Dragonbox DVD box sets. So I'm crystal clear on that I'm getting Dragon Box The Movies for my birthday (June 10th). And for Christmas I plan on getting the 2 Madman Dragonball boxsets.
So here we go:
Step 1: Receive Madman sets and watch entirely.
Step 2: Wait for any sort of confirmation of Dragonball Remastered sets.
Step 3: Sell each of the DB DVDs. $100 for Red Ribbon ftw.
Step 4: With money, buy the Dragonball Dragonbox.
Phew.
So, is this a good idea?

Really? Is that the going rate for Region 4's? I knew the Region 1's were going at astronomical prices, but at least you can still get new printings of the Region 4's (in the big boxes).RoarkVegeta wrote:Step 3: Sell each of the DB DVDs. $100 for Red Ribbon ftw.

No offense bro, but this is a kinda shit plan. If your thinking of selling the madman DB sets off individually and getting more than about AU$20 your dreaming. Especially when you can get DB sagas 1-6 for AU$60 now. Also madman no longer release them in individual sagas, they fatpack em in 2 big boxes.
I don't mean to shit on your plan.

Yeah, 400$ for the DB Dragon Box is cheap for me too. But where are you able to pick it up for 400$!?RoarkVegeta wrote:The DB box is cheap. $400 USD for me is cheap.SSj_Rambo wrote:As long as you already know that you won't end up with nearly enough money for the Dragon Box, sounds pretty good; considering you're one of those people that can watch the series over and over and over and not get tired of it.

Actually, JB Hi Fi has the Madman Dragon Ball fatpacks for $60 AUS.
If anyone is interested in trading me stuff for them, I'd pick them up.
