It has some pretty obvious flaws. And yet... I feel like watching it again sometime.

I gotta say, I don't think it was a really 'good' movie. but I had fun while watching it. I suppose that is what matters.

I did like Emmy's Bulma though.

Wow... I don't know how they do it in whatever theater company you went to, but when I worked for Regal, we weren't allowed to do that at all. If there were still people in the theater watching the credits, we weren't allowed to really hurry them out. We might be able to discretely start cleaning under cover of darkness, but turning on the house lights was a big no-no.

You should have told a manager.
Yeah, I work for a Keresotes theatre, and that is definitely not allowed.

However, if you've ever had a job at a theatre, and had to clean up afterwards...it is pretty annoying when people do that. >.<

But I do it too, so ah well...

Well, just got back from watching the movie at a Loew's in Woodfield, IL. I wore a Super Saiyan 3 Goku shirt that I got when I was 9, which wasn't really relevant with the movie at all. I'll start off by saying that I superly hated the movie for months before it was released, laughing at Goku and Chi-Chi going to high school... not to mention the fact of no Krillin, Goku being "cold," and at the fight with "Geek-o" and the punk/ghetto dudes. (There's actually a longer list.) Honestly, I thought it was a pretty awesome movie. As a long time fan of Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, and Dragon Ball GT... I enjoyed it very much. The fight scenes, in particular, were very awesome and well-choreographed. There were some obvious flaws, but overall I had a blast watching the movie. I had a few blunders of my own, including a bladder made of plastic wrap. I might think about buying the movie once it comes out on Blu-ray. Hell, I hope that there will be a sequel. I give Dragonball Evolution a 9.5/10. (If Shenron had a longer appearance and if the fight between Goku and Piccolo was longer, it would've been a 10/10.)

It's not really the people who are actually interested in who did what with the movie, or those that like the music in the credits. I like that stuff, too.

It's those little tweens who sit in the chairs and text during the credits, giggling about the newest Jonas Brothers single...

Oh, and the ones who sit and make out for 10 minutes straight.

-------------------

The point is, you can get pretty rushed. Their are times when you'll have maybe 4 theatres you have to clean being released at the same time, you only have a certain amount of time to clean them all before the next show. And people can be reeeaaallly messy. It's just kind of frustrating when you have to wait on 2 people, and there are two other full theatres letting out, too, and they're all extremely messy.

That's exactly how I was today. Let's just say that I spilled some "lemonade" in the theater. I just didn't want to leave the movie, because I was really hooked. Good thing I ran with my buddy before the cleaning people arrived. :P

I clean tables for half of my living, so oh my god I understand that. Bitches sitting and chatting three hours without ordering anything else when they see the goddamn wait line out the door....

I REALLY read that post wrong the first time. I am absolutely relieved that you didn't write what I thought you wrote.

edit: *looks down* ah the magic of the edit button doesn't always work so well.

That's really fucking disgusting dude. In fact that edit makes it worse. Did you spill it or just leave it in the bottle? Either way Jesus Christ man.

Hey, it happens. But I swear, when you get a job at a place like that, where you deal with people a lot or there are always a lot of people, you will learn how truly stupid the human race can be.

You are very nonchalant about this for making a living off of having to clean up after people in the movie theater. What if you were the dude who had to mop up this guys "lemonade?

So I just got back from the movies and it was pretty bad but it was all worth it because towards the end this guy totally snapped. Right after Goku defeats Piccolo he gets up and starts walking down the stairs and just starts going off. He was like "Man...This huff ass movie! This is bullshit! All y'all **** in here know this wasn't shit like the cartoon! I wanted to see some high flying kicks!" and he pretty much just went on like that as he walked out. Then this woman told him to shut up because her kids were in there. My friends and I were in tears laughing. Oh well. My show had a decent showing as far as audience goes so maybe it will make some kind of money by monday. lol
