Was it a dead word back in 1984? Was it at least slightly more vital? Because you're right, I don't think I've ever heard the word 'bloomers' outside Dragon Ball.

Bulma's name doesn't technically come from "bloomers", but from "burumā", those type of girls' legless gym shorts that are used all over Japan. It's not a dead word, it's just not something most non-Japanese would be familiar with.

No but I did make a call about the Wolverine movie. You should of saw what they had planned for Deadpool. He wasnt even going to have eye beams or claws and would of had a mouth.

Just got back from Evolution. I... liked it. O_o It was a fun movie, and had more elements from Dragon Ball then I thought it would.

Predictions for Dragonball Evolution 2:

-We will get into the Saiyan arc.
-Raditz will be cut.
-Gohan being in it doesn't seem too likely. Nappa as well.
-Vegeta will be in it, and be the most faithful character ever.
-Yamcha will be killed. (=D)
-Saibamen might possibly be in it, but they won't look anything like they originally do. Fans will complain they are the wrong shade of green.
-Saiyan armor will definately be altered. How much is up in the air.
-Heaven, Hell, Lord Kaio, and all that will probably not be in it as well. Although there is that "Kaio-Samma" track on the soundtrack, so if anything, Kaio will be in it, but altered immensely.
-Vegeta's hair will not be spiky enough for fans. It'll probably look like his GT hair, which will cause MAJOR shitstorms.

That's all I can think of.

Well the sequel has to explain the movie's canon that they didn't explain in the first movie... that is if it happens.

I hope it does because I want to see Vegeta on the big screen.

Fox greenlit a Revenge of the Nerds remake a few years ago. Yet somehow it was never made. Maybe this is a Producers esque scam. Thats the only way a sequal gets made or it gets amazing dvd sales.

I hope it does because I want to see Vegeta on the big screen.

I want to see Goku on the big screen. I'm still waiting.

I was think about Goku in the movie and I was wondering: If the Goku we know in the anime WERE some kind of hormonally-unstable teenager, would he be anything like Chatwin in the movie?
