Goldberg? Fuck that noise. STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN.

Then those bleeps in the "OVER 9000" video would really make sense.

I'd love to see Daniel Day Lewis as Cell if they ever get to the Cell Saga. Just a dream of mines.
I completely respect your opinion, and I respect you. I enjoyed discussing this with you, even if I don't completely agree.

Naw I would rather have Kristin Kreuk (Lana) portray Vegeta than Michael Rosenbaum (Lex). That Twilight dude would make a good Vegeta since they are going for that young angst filled American theme.

Edit:

Instead, what about Sam Witwer the actor that plays Doomsday on Smallville?

Well, I saw evolution today. I have to say, I did enjoy it. What I enjoyed most was the last 20 minutes of the movie. Why? Well, by then all the characters were established, there was no more backstory, there was no more explaining why things are happening, no more meeting new characters... The story could now proseed.

I think that might be what urks DragonBall fans the most (IMO). This whole movie you are constily meeting new characters and backstories are (trying) to be explained, but the average DragonBall fan knows all of this and is either thinking 1. "Uhg, thats not how it happened" or 2. "Uhg, whatever get on with it already". I think this thinking is what distracts fans from the actuall movie. That is why I think if (when) a sequel will be made, it would be a little better. By then most of the characters will have been established, all thats left is the story. I think that's why I enjoyed the last 20 minutes the most out of this whole movie.

But hey, this is just my opinion feel free to shit all over it.

That's why a LOT of superhero movies' sequels end up being better than the first. The first film has to spend a lot of time covering the world and characters' origins, but then the sequel is free to cut loose with the pre-established stuff out of the way, and focus on giving a just plain good story. Spider-Man 2 and Dark Knight come to mind.

Personally I much prefer Spiderman 1 over 2. And now that the dust has settled on The Dark Knight, I honestly prefer Batman Begins.

Note, this is all extreme spoilers. Now the movie was actually quite entertaining and not all that bad. If you look past the way the characters were portrayed and such, the movie had it's comedic moments and decent fighting. But here are some of my fave scenes and major gripes.

While I hated the fact that Goku was in high school and basically 'normal', I did like the scene when he was surrounded by those school punks. He didn't even have to fight them, he dodged all their moves and let them take themselves out. I love the quips he was dishing out as well as when he basically slid across Fuller's car on his gelled-up head. LOL

Yamcha was a major gripe... why even bother? His character served no purpose whatsoever. He should have had a brief fight against Goku to show off the Roga FuuFuu Ken, and when Piccolo's minions attacked them, he also should had a fight scene. He had NO PURPOSE WHATSOEVER. WTF??? All he did was follow them around. Plus Yamcha's supposed to be a pretty boy, and he's ugly as all fuck. I know everyone was different from the manga, but Goku had the hairstyle (sorta), Roshi still wore the Hawaiin shirts and the shades, Bulma had the hairstyle and at least a random blue-ish strand of hair... but Yamcha looked nothing like himself. Ugly-ass fucker. Only makes Bulma looks worse when she was falling for the guy.

Piccolo needed more screen time and such. The final battle was sweet for what was shown, but it was too damn short. It was basically Goku dodging all of Piccolo's ki shots, then some arial combat and then we end it with the KameHame Ha. I felt the air fighting captured the fast brutal hirs of the anime and shoulda been drawn out some, or at least some more hand-to-hand action. And Piccolo should have named his blast the Bakumatsu Maha, like what Daimaoh used in the anime. It looks cooler than 'KameHame Ha VS random red blast'.

It's cool how they used some of the original terms, like the Ma Fu Ba and ki. I mean c'mon.. after years of all the Funidub crap, it was about time some form of American DB media introduced the idea of Ki, Son Goku and Muten Roshi to the general public.

What's with the Ohzaru the Destroyer stuff? Servant of Piccolo? How will all this factor in if they ever make a seuel in which Vegeta also turns Ohzaru.

Why was Chichi dressed as Videl?

But yeah, those were my thoughts. Bad movie, but not as bad as it sounds. I guess the real overall complaint was them trying to make Goku act like a normal teen when he never lived a normal life in the comics. Also, lack of Kuririn, but with the way Yamcha was portrayed, I'm afarid of what they would have done to his character.

Tanooki you always sound like you know what your talking about. I have yet to se ethis movie in theaters, still not sure if I will. Now whoever said Spideer Man 2 was better then Spider Man 1 (I honestly think they both sucked personally...SAM RAIMI MAKE EVIL DEAD MOVIES AGAIN YOU BASTARD!!!!) I can really argue about how much Spider Man 2 sucked, but I'm not. But hopefully if they make a DBE sequel, I hope the story is a lot better than the first one. Once again I still haven't seen it. Not sure if I should find a source to see it or just wait to buy it on blu-ray, either way, Fox will be getting my money no matter what.

How about Hulk Hogan playing Hercule? I can see that working if he changed his hair a little.

Wow! This would certainly fit Yajorobies character! We should be in charge of the casting. Imagine Jack Black as... "The Bean Daddy..."

Or its a shitty movie that shits on a series they enjoy. Nobody was hold a gun to Foxs head telling them to not be faithful. They made that choice and they paid for it. They can say they did it to appeal to a "mainstream audience" but in the end they did not.

Just keep making excuses.

He's a joke! Always has been, and even more so today! Dude's lucky he wasn't locked up today for what he said to reporters about being able to relate to OJ Simpson.

He's a joke in the ring, and a joke in real life. End o' story.
