Actually, I think good DVD sales and such seem to make them see reboot potential, rather than sequel potential, like with Daredevil and Punisher.

My friend had the idea the movie is a Producers like scam.

Or they did a really shitty movie to build an anticipation for a more faithful/good sequal. I could at least respect that. In any case if a sequal is somehow made, it will not resemble this abortion in any way. But if I had to bet my left hand on a sequal being made I vote nay.

This is what the Oozaru was originally supposed to look like but they changed it due to fan complaints (not like it helped any), I actually like it better.

That doesn't even look like a monkey. Jesus, even I would have complained about that.

 I personally would love to see this design in the movie rather the design closer to the original that we got. And Fox listen to us, fans.

It looks a lot better from that angle than it did in the original picture. I probably wouldn't have minded that design if it didn't appear rushed.

Yeah I would have liked that better than the Howling reject they used.
The Saiyans are very much like the Klingons and Jem'Hadar.

Thanks a lot Neptune Kai that song is gonna be stuck in my head all day.
I completely respect your opinion, and I respect you. I enjoyed discussing this with you, even if I don't completely agree.

Nooooo one can ever take them down! The power lies on their si-EE-i-EE-i-EE-i-EE-i-EE-ide!

Ummmm.... yeah, I like the one that looks more like a monkey. I'm glad they dumped this design.

I dunno. From that angle, the film's other Oozaru design actually looks pretty neat to me. I mean, "fishzaru" looks SCARY, the one they ended up with just kind of looks like a rushed werewolf halloween costume.

I have a minor problem with your statement. Unless you were talking about the old Lundgren Punisher being rebooted into the one with Thomas Jane, Punisher: War Zone wasn't the same case as Daredevil (and Fantastic Four, Incredible Hulk, Batman Begins, etc). Thomas Jane just chose to drop out since it was taking too long to get a decent script on the table and it was tying up his schedule.
To show my appreciation, I'll only beat them half to death.

So when they said that first leaked picture was of a make-up test that had been rejected, they... lied?
Say it ain't so! Why would they lie?!

That actually looks kind of cool. It looks really evil/demonic.

Gyah! Looks nothing like a monkey! I mean, I've never been a fan of the whole "Saiyans are monkeys in disguise" thing, but jeez...

While it does look evil and demonic and in any other movie I would have liked it, I'm glad they listened to the fans. Realistically, the Oozaru in the movie was the best we could get. Now watch as I get attacked for that opinion.

I'm glad they decided to listen to the fans in the end. That "thing" was nothing like the actual oozaru from the series, it's good that they at least listened a *little* bit. It also explains the bad CG of the oozaru... I guessed they rushed with changing it.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they just slapped some hair texture over it and changed some minor features.

Oh gee, thats a totally unique design that I've never seen before. Oh wait, thats right, I have.

Image

It is a nifty design, but outside of the lizard look to it the actual curves to the hair look better on Akuma. :P
