I just noticed this, but in the movie the "You aw the ownwee one who can do eet" line that was so very criticized by many here was never actually said in the movie. In fact, the line was actually changed to "I am the only one who can do it". Chatwin's "I'm not ready for this" line was cut also.

So suck on that haters.... movie still sucked.

Well, the possible nightmare sequel might happen after all... Goddammit.

Then again, if it gives me a horrible live action Vegeta to make fun of and rub in all the idiotic fangirls' faces... It might not be so bad.

I'm a ridiculous optimist. Considering all the negative feedback, and seeing as how they went back and re-shot scenes to make them more faithful (No pale piccolo, no horse-man Cymbol, no Fishzaru), I'm hoping they'll do that the first time around here.

As much as I abhor Chatku; the fact that they dumped/fired Ramsey gives me a tiny cluster of hope for said sequel. Come what may, at the very least what I want from this sequel is:

-An IN-CHARACTER Son Goku. (I cannot stress this enough.)
-Higher-quality, non-gassy-looking ki.
-More battles, and battles that last longer than a measly 5 minutes.

That's it. That's my baseline. There are loads of additional things I'd like to ask for, but those are my top 3 "Things I want Most" for Reborn--which I am convinced will have its title changed at least once before the movie comes out ala Evolution.

Actually, I loved the movie. I didn't take it seriously, and it was "perfectly cheesy".

(Although I did hate every Chatku/Chi-Chi moment)

But I agree with Chuquita. With Ramsey gone, the sequel may have a fighting chance.

I think you may only get one of those and if all three come to past then I will be upset, yet the thought of a live action Vegeta aligned with a Kakarrot/“Goku” I actually like would make me make me be found of the film nonetheless.

Yamcha was definitely one of the funnier parts of the movie for me. I never really saw/read much of the original Dragon Ball, so all I've ever seen Yamcha do is die repeatedly. I loved how cheesy he was in the movie, he reminded me of those two guys who were bullies in the original Power Rangers(Skully and whats-his-name?).

I believe when he got burnt by the volcano he yelled "Beans and Rice that just burned my 'nads!"

Man, I loved that.

I believe you're thinking of "Bulk and Skull".

Personally I find that type of humor more annoying then hilarious... but seeing as how this movies core demographic is children I guess I can't really complain when those jokes don't hit home for me.
