Nope I'd never get a tattoo for DBZ, that's ridiculous. I'd get one that actually meant something, not just an advertisement for a kid's cartoon.
If challenge had a taste, you'd be quite delicious.

Well, if Dragon Ball is an important part of your life, then it does mean something.

...I have to side with JAPPO. If you're going to get a tattoo, it should be for something that..."defines" you, in a way. You can't define yourself by someone else's work, etching another person's creative workings into your skin just seems self-deprecating to me. And it's ridiculous in that, yeah, you're just a walking ad for that, rather than it being an expression of self.

A tattoo doesn´t have to be a definition it can also be an inspiration.

No matter how much I may like it, a goofy children's cartoon is NOT my idea of good material for a tattoo. Those suckers are permanent.

Yes, but I'm talking about them getting really pissed about really, really small shit like this. Other people wouldn't get so pissed about such things. For instance:

- If someone makes a mock-up tattoo of the theory of evolution, by making a tattoo of Goku "evolving" through the Super Sayajin forms (with base Goku looking almost ape-like, while the Super Sayajin forms look more human, something like that). Do you really think that any sane science who avidly and interestingly studies evolution for most of his and who happens to be a fan of Dragon Ball will really say "HOW DARE YOU COMPARE DRAGON BALL TO THE FUCKING THEORY OF EVOLUTION! WORST YET, YOU'RE MOCKING IT."

- Another example. Say, there's someone with a tattoo of Earth will smog and shit all around the atmosphere (obviously a polluted Earth). Then, next to that, there will be Goku, with a Super Sayajin aura. The aura would cleanse all the smog around him. There would be letters that say "GOKU, HELPING THE EARTH IN MORE WAYS THAN ONE!" Do you think that a sane Geologist who's studied the Earth for all of his life, and who takes pollution seriously is going to say, "HOW DARE YOU THINK THAT A FICTIONAL CHARACTER IS GOING TO SAVE US ALL FOR THIS THREAT. STOP TREATING IT LIKE A JOKE."

Not saying that Scientists who study Geology and Evolution are better human beings. Just saying that a lot of them are less fickle about shit like that.

@Topic: Tattoo's can be removed, though. It's just painful, and it fucks your skin up. That would really be an indicator of your fandom; get a tattoo of the series, then suffer through the pain that is caused by removing it.

They need to make easier to remove tattoos.

Skin is skin. Get whatever you want, if you want a tattoo. A tattoo is not needed to define one's self, it's ink. =/

But why should you defend youself? Your religion is your personal bond to God, and for someone religious it shouldn't matter what other people think.
If they have an open heart, God will lead them the right way.
If they don't, screw them.
Simply, that's why I don't get upset with people bashing my religion.
'Cause it's none of their business.

Couldn't agree more.
*Cliche warning*
Your personality and dreams, that's what defines you.
And I really mean it.
No more time for Daizex. Goodbye folks!

I bet someone would find it disturbing that they become more human as their features became more aryan.

A note to SSJ Rambo: Wow... This programme looks brilliant! Thanks again!
As long as you are a female, your virtual kiss is gladly accepted! And no problem, hope it comes in handy! They also have some image capturing software that works great!
Wow, that almost exactly what I would get if I had to get a DB tattoo.

Hey, check out these two:

I wonder how this one looks when he flexes...
Yes I am very much a girl :P

I'm surprised nobody has thought of having a tattoo dedicated to Akira Toriyama, Although like somebody pointed out the majority of japanese people dislike tattoos.
Who would dare have the seven dragonballs around their wrist? Ouch.
