Female:Android 18!
Children: Vegeta, Piccolo

Game: Yamcha, Piccolo, Kuririn, Gohan (adult and kid), Mr. Satan
Filler: The second Appule that got killed.
Female: Bulma for the looks, Videl for her fighting spirit
Children: Kid Gohan (until Freeza saga), Piccolo Jr. (he wasn't that old against Goku in the 23rd Tenkaichi Budokai), Kuririn as a kid.

I'm gonna add on with a few that I had seen made up:

Villian: Radditz
Game: Yamcha, Tenshinhan, Uub, Gotenks, Raditz, Bardock, Selypa, Tullece, Kid Goku, Videl, 17, 18, Cui, Goku (Early), Chi-Chi, Nail, Piccolo
Female: Bulma (looks), 18 (looks, personality), Selypa
Children: Vegeta, Goten and Trunks (I gotta say both... they are a pair to me and I love how they play off each other)
Filler: Bojack and Pirates, (I am drawing a blank on others...)
Artificial Human: 18, "Eighter"
Animal: Puar
Underused: Yamcha, Launch
Fusion: Gotenks
Outfits: Krillian's "Pimp" suit (Garlic Jr) and Sports Jacket (begenning Namek), Vegeta's "Baman" Pink shirt, Yamcha's Desert gear and Yellow Suit (Buu Saga)
Arc: (real) Namek until Ginyu (so far)

I dunno, I found that Arc fairly engaging:
I hadn't seen any of those episodes growing up but the back and forth kind of "battle" and sneaking around and all flowed pretty well to me. I got annoyed as soon as it took forever to go back and forth to the Elder's place.
I'm still buying up the DVDs 'cus I have missed huge portions of the story.

Game: Vegeta (Budokai) Son (Sparking!) Vegeta (Burst Limit)
Female: Cyborg 18
Children: Goten, Trunks, and Gotenks
Filler: Janenba (I hate any and all filler that aren't the movies)
Artificial Human: 18 and 16 (Also like Ha-chan too, but he wasn't there for very long)
Animal: Oolong
Underused: All of the Human Fighters past the Saiyan arc and Lunch
Fusion: Vegetto
Outfits: Kuririn's Boo arc outfit, Vegeta's Boo arc outfit, and I like 18's outfit
Arc: Namek and Boo (Both Manga Only) I mostly like Boo because Vegeta FINALLY GOT DECENT CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT!!

For this not to be a list thread and closed, I'll write in more details why I picked mine:

Overall: Piccolo He is the most skilled character, intelligent and strong. Even Buu wanted his intelligence at least.
Villian: Radditz He was simply cool, with a great ruthless and destructive power. Like his two-handed blast against Goku and Piccolo.
Game: Yamcha He is usually fast, and I live his yellow suit. Don't shoot me., Piccolo Simply because of that he is my favorite character, Kuririn He is small and can be harder to hit., Gohan (adult and kid) As a Kid his SSJ2 form looks dynamic. As an adult I like his SSJ2 form as we didn't got to see much of it., Mr. Satan I like the challenge to fight without ki blasts.
Filler: The second Appule that got killed. Appule. Is. Immortal.
Female: Bulma for the looks Buu saga Bulma, 23rd Tenkaichi Budokai Bulma, yawr., Videl for her fighting spirit Standing infront all those gigants, she still fought and didn't lose spirit.
Children: Kid Gohan (until Freeza saga), Piccolo Jr. (he wasn't that old against Goku in the 23rd Tenkaichi Budokai), Kuririn as a kid.
Gohan: He got from a wimp to a great asset. Piccolo Jr.: He was just awesome and was equal to Goku in power. Kuririn: Funny, and among the strongest. He was useful then.

Overall: Trunks(Both versions/timelines)- I like Mirai Trunks for his down-to-earth, cool headed, and sensible personality, but I also like Chibi Trunks' mischievous, bratty personality for it's comedic value.
Villian: Vegeta- He was the most memorable for me and I liked watching him go from "ruthless murderer" to "family man"
Game: Tenshinhan, Yamcha, Trunks, and Videl- I use them the most because I like them the most.
Filler: Tapion- Movie characters count right? I liked his interaction with the other characters.
Female:
Videl- She was determined, strong willed, and had the same "never-say-die" attitude as the other fighters.
Bulma- She was an entertaining character and arguably one of the most important/useful.
Bra- She's Trunks' little sister.... Shallow reason is shallow.
Children: Trunks and Goten- Reminded me of Kuririn and Goku as children.
Artificial Human: Android 16: By this point I was getting a little tired of the arrogant personality that nearly every villain had. 16 was something new. I like Hacchan too.
Animal: Bee- Helped change Buu who brought out a more admirable side of Mr Satan.
Underused: Tenshinhan and Yamcha- My favorite humans, but Yamcha gradually lost his personality. Tenshinhan was always cool.
Outfits: End of Z-Trunks' outfit, Bulma's first outfit, and 21st Budokai-Yamcha's outfit
Arc: Saiyan Saga, Trunks Saga, and Buu Saga

Ya I bought the first 2 DBZ books, than started getting the original DB manga and found them more enjoyable heh

Nothing against DBZ but the story seemed quite fun in the original

Everytime someone mention Piccolo they also mention his intelligent... but can someone please tell me what Piccolo did that so intelligent that he is considered the most intelligent Zette Senshi? Please!

Overall: ......... Piccolo! Specifically Ma Juniaa, the younger. That was a tough one to guess <_< I've only been in love with him since I was 14.
Villain: The crazy old man himself, Pikkoro no Daimaou. He was just so damn awesome, and honest to god scary.
Game: I don't play the games, and when I did I just went right to Pic, Gohan and Yamcha because they're my favorites.
Filler: Pigero. He was only ever in one ep but he always seemed really cool to me. He had to make the kids hate him to really get the best for them.
Female: Ranchi!! She needed to be in more of the series, she was such a sweet little crazyface.
Children: Gohan before he starts forgetting his sensei exists. After that he needs a punch in the face.

Remember the beginning of the fight against 19 and 20? Reading the landscape perfectly, feigned anger to play dead and wait for the right moment to assist Son, both Coola movies, his attitude Vs Son's in the Radditsu fight... just off the top of my head. Basically he's a freaking genius save when he's basically a newborn and when he first fuses with Neru. Always has a cool head, always sees the situation, doesn't let himself get overwhelmed. Aka, he is my Sexy Genius.

My favorites tend to change every few months depending on what part of the series I've been into most recently. I can never ultimately decide. It's just too difficult to pick favorites! But here's how I feel right now.

Overall: Future Trunks
Rogue: Vegeta
Villain: Freeza (Japanese seiyuu only!), #17 & #18 (in the Trunks Special)
Henchman: Zarbon ('Cause he's gay, and a badass)
Female: #18
Children: Trunks, Goten (So adorable together)
Movies: Cooler, Tapion
Artificial Human: #17, #18
Underused: Female characters in general (especially #18)
Fusion: SSJ4 Gogeta (He just looks like a BAMF)
Least Favorite: Mr. Satan, Chaozu, Yajirobe
Outfits: Goku, Gohan, and long-haired Future Trunks all wearing Saiya-jin armor during the Cell arc (They look super sexy)
Arc: Saiya-jin/Namek/Freeza.

I actually kind of agree. The fact that it's like, "Guess what, there's still more Saiya-jins left out there, and this guy Broly happens to be a freakishly strong 'Legendary' Super Saiya-jin" completely undermines the "specialness" of Goku being the first character to become Super Saiya-jin. It ruins that whole mythos. Plus, there aren't supposed to be any other Saiya-jins left besides Goku, Vegeta, and their descendents. And that's the point. Broly comes along and screws it all up. Luckily it's not canon. That being said, I still think the Broly movies are really cool for the action.
