Well... Desert Bandit Yamcha was never in GT, so he was drawn in a 'what if Desert Bandit Yamcha was in GT' look. He even had Goku's GT tan.

...Uh huh. I think you're getting off track here. I"m talking about the animation changing. You can't look at "more developed muscles" as anything significant.

I liked that scene, and never really realized how close it was to the Goten and Trunks fight. Looking at it now, I think the GT animators were just lazy because that's what they mostly are throughout the series; lazy and uncreative.

The first set I've always known about, but I've never caught the others until just now. Though for that first set (with the shocked audience member), if you look at the image from the manga you see it more resembles the scene from GT rather than the anime version of the Goten/Trunks fight.
