Aloha~!

Well in post-count I'm about to cross another threshold (though I don't think I get a new title under my name until I hit...5000; if I even make it that far. XD ) so I wanted to do something special for the occasion.

Imagine you are, somehow and inexplicably, having lunch with Mr. Toriyama. You ask him if he were to create a new arc for his manga; what type of villain would he have Goku and friends face?
Mr. Toriyama promptly asks you who "Goku" is, and at that point you kind of just sit back and awkwardly pick at the rest of your meal.

Change of Scene

Image that you have, somehow, won a contest that allows you to request a new DB or Z special/movie/series from Toei. What type of situations would you come up with?

For a series I'd like a bundle of shorts in the style of the animated special. Like how the Son family daikon farm got started, or daily life at Capsule Corp; or what spurred Mark into wanting to build his own hotel; that sort of thing.

For a movie; I'd like one that would take place shortly after the new animated special in which the main cast battles against characters from Dabura's kingdom who want to take revenge on the Earth over his death. It'd probably cross worlds at some point and Goku, Vegeta, and everyone would have to travel to ano yo at some point. I'd also like to include a bad guy who's got psychological attacks up his sleeve.

I'd like to see character specials! Perhaps a day in the life, a new series, based on a wacky day in the Son house, then in Capsule Corp., Kame House, and so on. Get to know the characters, and have a great time in the process, no villains, just light hearted fun.

This is extremely easy.

I'd ask for an anime or live-action series. This series focusing soley on the crime-fighting adventures of the Great Saiyaman and Great Saiyaman Mark II. If it's live action, it specifically has to utilize the technology and techniques of the 70s and maybe 80s Tokusatsu series.

Goku won't fight in this series. All threats will be of a rather small level, with the odd giant monster. Super Saiyan should only be utilized at the end of an arc.

Basically, I want to take the first few minutes of Movie 13, and turn that into a full-blown TV show.

Roshi's story,in the manga by Toriyama, that way it's canon and purty

and hopefully with an assistant by his side, there won't be any plot holes

This has been brought up before, and my answer is still the same - a new series focusing on the post-Buu arc high school life of Gohan and Videl/superhero antics of Great Saiyaman and Great Saiyaman II, with their families and friends as supporting cast members, all living together at Mr. Satan's mansion.

I'am so sick of the whole "new stronger villain" plot. I'd want to see some kind of Wacky Races movie with everyone from DragonBall. Could you imagine Popo and Kami driving in a car? Oh what conversations that would be had.

That sort of already exists, there's this manga, I cant remember it's name, but I know it was drawn by someone that worked on the anime, I think I saw it on Desire Campbell's site. There's also one with Pikkoro.

I actually consider them more canon than the anime even though Toriyama had nothing to do with it at all. There just so well done

-Stuff around the time of the new special. Goten and Trunks hanging out.
-More of Goku's training before the 22nd Tenkaichi Budokai. That was the best filler ever.

-The history of the Saiyans. Maybe we'll see some of the Tsufuru war, and what happens when the three survivors meet after hearing their planets destruction.

Yeah, I'm not good with ideas.

I'd probably want something going into a character's back story like Tenshinhan or Kuririn. We see that scene where Tenshinhan is younger and Tao Pai Pai is beating him, I think that could have been expanded upon.

This. As well as backstories for other characters, such as Tao Pai Pai, Tsuru-Senin, Kuririn, Vegeta, Kame-Senin, etc.

Like I've said before, I'd like a new movie re-animating/shortening the Namek/Freeza Arcs ala One Piece. Maybe re-writing the arc so it takes place in the future with Goten and Trunks.
