Was it ever released as an MP3?
Now that I have a newer computer with all this fancy new technology... I can actually WATCH videos!
So this was my second time to see this video and its been quite a few years since the first...
and I still love this custom remix of Sandstrom.
I would REALLY like to carry it around with me on my ZEN and listen to it while I draw

You can just extract the MP3 from the XviD...

Was the song a remix made by you, or by someone else? In that case, what is the artists name, and the song title?
It would be easier than extracting if it's available, and you could support the artist that made the remix.
But if it was your work, I guess you don't want to share the file here due to legal rights?
No more time for Daizex. Goodbye folks!

The thing is... I don't actually know, myself.
The mix was done by a guy named David (he went by Xenodrake online). I'm fairly sure he mixed together different official mixes of the song to create the final version that we used, but I don't have a clue what they were or what their origins may have been. It was also four years ago, and I don't remember much

... really? o_0
Not entirely sure how to do that.
Is it too much to ask how to do that?
I'm finally back online on my own computer and just downloaded the new DivX last night.

Just open it up in VirtualDub, hit up "Streams", and export a wav / demux the MP3.

Trying to get the program now.
How big of a file (the extracted MP3) will it be or will I need to somehow compress it (also something I'm not sure how to do)

It's an MP3 like any other MP3. I think we encoded it as 192 kbps, 44 kHz, stereo. It's about 9 minutes long... so... whatever that'll end up being.
Keep in mind we also have the "Zenkai Power" ending to it in the audio, but you could set your in-and-out points and create a new file from there... blah blah blah...

This is neat!
I'm not sure what I'm doing but I do have the video playing in VirtualDub (32-bit) and am hoping to get it to go!
EDIT: SUCCESS!
I made two files... one is the complete mix of Sandstorm (minus Zenkai Power) and the other is from the start of Cell's appearance until the end.
Thanks for your help VegettoEX.
No worries, I wont be putting this all over the net

The original song is called "Sandstorm" and the artist is Darude (Which I do own the original of).
However according to the bio on this AMV, this is a custom remix specifically for this video so you will not see it appear on any physical disc or to download anywhere online
