Dragon Ball Z Season Eight arrived today, from god_of_chaos, and I ordered Season Nine for my upcoming birthday birthday.
I'll probably get some money on my birthday too and use that to buy Season Seven since I skipped that due to being the most expensive set and having the least amount of episodes. Here it costs like £37, and the rest are about £25 to £30.

Best of luck on that, my friend...RoarkVegeta wrote:Looking to buy the Tournament Saga Set on Ebay for cheap!
I just ordered:
-Dragonball: Fortuneteller Baba Saga
The only other one that I'm missing is the RED RIBBON ARMY SAGA. It's selling online for unheard of prices. Does anyone have tips on scoring this final piece to my DB collection?

I spent way too much money on it from a company I loathe, but it was worth it. That's pretty much my favorite image of him ever, and it's gigantic and wonderfully printed.
That shirt is amazing.

Not all of these are exactly recent, but hey, I haven't posted in this thread in awhile.
Case in point, the 2009 Dragonball calendar:

Current page, May-June, features Piccolo (LOL, they even found the driving episode worthy of making his calendar page). All the other pages are like this as well, in that they prominently feature a single character: Jan-Feb is Gokuu, Mar-Apr is Bulma, Jul-Aug is Gohan, Sep-Oct is Vegeta (and includes a pink shirt picture!), and Nov-Dec is Trunks.
Next is a cool Vegeta figure I picked up from work recently (because I can never resist adding to my Vegeta shrine
):

Featuring Vegeta doing that pose he did that one time at the beginning of his fight with Gokuu, and his Oozaru form sticking out the back. This is part of the "Amazing Arts" series, which also includes figures of Gokuu, Bulma, and Piccolo.
Now, going back a while to Sakura Con, one item I picked up in the dealer's room was this:

In ten years as a fan, I've never actually bought a Dragonball shirt. My husband had a couple back when we were in high school, but I'm sure he doesn't have them any more (I've kept all of the anime shirts I've ever bought, even if they're totally worn out, for nostalgia purposes. He throws his away when they get too nasty looking). But anyway, since all the Dragonball shirts I've seen have always been made for men (save for a few in recent years in Japan), I didn't particularly want to buy them, since I don't really go for the big and baggy look. Still, at Sakura Con I was looking at the Dragonball shirts nonetheless. Most of them, as I complained to my friend as we looked, featured entirely too much Gokuu for my liking (because who wants merchandise featuring the main character, right?
). Well, then I found the above shirt at one booth, and I just couldn't resist it. And a men's small isn't so gigantic that it fits like a tent, so I broke down and bought it.
Finally, also purchased at Sakura Con, some items that I heard about several years ago, looked for, didn't find, forgot about, and then found unexpectedly:

Dragonball sound drop keychains! They're keychains that play a voice clip of the character on front when you press the button. There are a few different series of these for Dragonball, and I'm pretty sure I didn't even get a complete one (I think the sets usually have 8?), but I was happy to find even just a few of them, since I first heard about them about 2 years ago but never found the Dragonball ones at a con (I could easily find Super Mario and Bleach ones). Just for kicks, I made a little video showing them in all their glory. Well, actually, the video is of terrible quality and super tiny, since I shot it with my regular camera at the lowest rate to keep the file size low. But hey, the point is the sound, right? (which, uh, is also pretty low quality, and there's a weird clicking noise at the beginning that always shows up when I shoot video with the camera). Watch the keychains spring into action!

Yeah, that looks like Veku for sure. If you get Veku, post a pic, I'd love to check it out. Out of all of those, I think Cooler looks the best!
