Dragonball they have the change to do them like wii. Fun platform games.

Dragonball Z - biggest story, Most villains ect... Should be RPG series.

Dragonball GT - Short story. But loads of locations and ideas to be fleshed out more - Action RPG to draw from other two.

Then Something like this that they insist have DB and GT characters get rebranded, E.g DragonBall Universe : Raging Blast.

That would be an interesting take but wont happen.
RPG? Ew, no. I'd like DBZ to be more of an "Adventure" series, like Jak and Daxter, but better.

Dragonball serves the adventure genre better. Dragonball Z were at this point in the series it stopped been about technique and more about who's strongest, RPG works best like Legacy of goku but 3d. Why? Because in RPGs stuff like been strongest thorough levelling up is the norm.

Legacy of Goku 2 and Buu's Fury are the best DBZ games ever made... they should definitely make a 3D version.
If challenge had a taste, you'd be quite delicious.

I think they may have misunderstood your post (or, at least I did), and thought you meant an RPG as in Final Fantasy or Dragon Quest, not RPG as in Legacy of Goku.

Though, they already tried a 3D Legacy of Goku of sorts... And it was called Sagas, and it wasn't very good... Of course, if a competent developer was to give it a shot, who knows?

Though I have to say, I would really dig a traditional RPG based on Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z... They should really give Mistwalker a crack at that, and let them use the Lost Odyssey battle engine, so that there would be a just little user interaction during fights.

---

I have to say, having not played a game in this series since the first Sparking!, I'm not burnt out on the gameplay, and I'm pretty interested in Raging Blast!, if only because it's prettier, and the 360's controller will probably be more comfortable to play with (the first one gives me cramps when I use the PS2 controller).

I will be pretty mad if they do pull a Burst Limit and reduce the character selection, though. I want them building onto what they did with the third Sparking!, and I want all of the characters that were in the last one, because that's what I played the first one for - the absurd amount of characters... Even if they weren't all that rewarding or deep.

I beg your fucking pardon?
Final Bout = Slow as shit gameplay, broken to an extent (constantly havign to be at the same "level" as your opponent causes a lot of fling up and down, and making certain attacks easy to dodge. Horrendous graphics, by even the Playstation's standards, the music and opening were the only redeeming aspects of that mess.

Infinite World = Bad story mode (one up on Final bout, which didn't even HAVE a story mode), fast and furious 2D gameplay, you can fly, but as in Budokai 3, catching up to the opponent takes about a second. Fantastic graphics, great use of cel shading, all over. Nicely rendered cutscenes. Great music. Some of the mini-games actually have nice replay value (training rooms), a nice roster with a few new characters.
Sorry, but that statement you made is simply ridiculous.
Even if you're comparing these games by what was best at the time, Infinite World is still leaps and bounds beyond Final Bout.
I see you took off the last part of my statement and made due with what you thought I was trying to say. So I'll simply put my statement in a way where you'll be able to fully understand me and not smother me with your profanity.

Infinite World, to me, was a very cheap "sequel" to Budokai 3. I had quite a few problems with the game.

1. The new characters in the game look so bad, that they made me want to stay away from the character select screen, itself.

2. The only re-playable part of this game would be the mini-games. And those aren't even incredible.

3. They took out Oob, Supreme Kai and Kid Goku for no apparent reason.

4. The story mode was so confusing a rushed that a non-fan would know absolutely nothing about the current story that is supposed to be taking place.

5. There are 0 narratives in this game. No big summaries that tell you what's happening or anything. This will leave newcomers to the Dragonball World very confused.

6. This game was 100% fan service.

7. The American cover art was....disgraceful.

Yes, I fully understand that Final Bout was horrible and that it had no story mode, but then again, I had more fun playing it than I did with Infinite World, because I did not feel cheated out of my $40. Infinite World had qualities that made it seem worse than Final Bout in a few ways, in my opinion. But it also had a few similarities to it. But hey, they're both shitty games, in my opinion, so what does it matter?

"The enhanced graphics provided by the game lets players rightly comprehend the speed and power of each character. Also featured is a never before seen move dubbed as the ‘Super Rising’. Along with their signature moves, characters can also perform the new move which adds more variety to the stages. It even lets gamers explore new areas in the Dragon Ball World."

Sounds interesting. So maybe the characters will finally become unique?

Now for the mind-blowing details...what you thought we were kidding?

* For the first time on next-gen consoles, the studio Spike, series developer

* DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi on PS2 and Wii, is at last series leading to the the new one, "RAGING BLAST".

* The fineness of the traits of the characters + the dynamism of the animations + the power of the current consoles = an organization bluffing to 60 frames per second!!!

* A content at last to the height of the expectations of the fans: 73 playable characters, some of which some possessing transformations and different suits and more

* 10 arenas of destructible fighting.

* Graphics are amazing and especially worthy spectacular effects of the better productions next gen.

* For the first time in the history
of DBZ, participate in the fine one "Big tournament" online with 16 players.

* A method history complete extremist resuming all the better moments of the DBZ saga to more than 100 chapters.

10 stages and 73 characters. I hope they find a clever way to remove the invisible walls. My "Pacman" suggestion still stands I guess.

73 characters? Didn't Meteor have like 150? 73 sounds like the number that Sparking 1 had... Mayhaps we have a situation similar to Burst Limit?

They aren't counting transformations. Meteor had 96 characters(Not counting transformations and fusions).

According to Wikipedia, there were 20 individual characters in Sparking!, but since transformations were counted as separate characters, they advertised it as having 90.

There were 16 stages in the original, though.

Meteor apparently had over 162 (I have to imagine that includes transformations, though).

The quote about Raging Blast says that there are 73 individual characters, with some having multiple transformations. I guess they decided to go with a logical system of counting the characters this time around, or something.

Hmm, Meteor had 97 characters without transformations, 85 if you take some phases away. If we take that number for fact, that means we'll have quite a few less characters. And Meteor had 23 stages, not counting day and night changes. That's 13 stages less. Hmm... I'm not as hyped anymore.

It was in Sparking Meteor. Also, I hope it's not decor too, but it probably is.
Ah, it looks worse with less characters.

Except for that... that makes me wish I had X-Box Live...

Hopefully they'll rename it for the US, it's name looks too much like Raping Ass.

It seems disappointing that we get much less characters and stages yet it doesn't look much improved.

Is it just me, or do the characters look REALLY washed out in this game? This is also the shiniest I've seen them look in quite a while, too. I really hope these graphical issues get resolved before this game's release. Anyone else see what I'm talking about?

Depending on the size, I might be willing to give ten stages a chance.
