Is Blue Water's GT all that accurate?
It might just be because of Episode 63, but... I think FUNimation still has a more accurate dub (of at least this episode). Some things are mistranslated (or worded very awkwardly), some added in. And Goku making jokes? What the hell.
Not, even FUNimation screwed this up:

Well, FUNi screwed episode 64's writing pretty badly. See if you can compare that one.SSJ4 Furanki wrote:It might just be because of Episode 63, but... The GT season sets are very cool for FUNi VAs with the original BGM.Rory wrote:I prefer Blue Water because of its use of the original BGMs,a nd I could never stand Stephanie Nadolny.. but in terms of accuracy, it's not all that great. At least it doesn't say Tuffles.
SHOCKING, AIN'T IT?!

Yeah good points. So, it looks like they both have their moments of "fucking up" compared to the original Japanese Version and yes, I agree with you Conan. The GT Sets are awesome for that reason.Conan the SSJ wrote:Well, FUNi screwed episode 64's writing pretty badly. And I never said FUNimation was more accurate. I was just saying for THAT episode, FUNimation seemed to stick closer to the Japanese dialouge that time.

I like their Vegeta lol His voice reminds me of Wolverine, which is the epitome of badass. Their Omega/Eis Shenron and Goku sound terrible. They do sound kind of like the Ocean dub though. Their Goku sounds like a mix between Ocean dub and FUNimation. Although King Kai sounds like FUNimation's version. Their narrator reminds me of that old 1990s Street Fighter cartoon...the bad one lol

Vegeta said "over here chump". Sounds like a ninja turtle dub gag.
Funi is way better compared to this. Although Pan makes it seriously fail.
Which is why the original GT is far better then both of these.
