My friend badgered me about putting this on here, so let him have it Daizex. Don't be too hard on him, it actually is fairly decent.

To be perfectly honest, this is terrible. There's not even an attempt to match the beats of the song, it just feels like he picked a random song at put music to it.

I've got to agree there, it's a classic Youtube AMV, random cuts over random footage (from a single source), with a completely random song that has no relevance to anything whatsoever.

That's where you're wrong. The chorus of the song goes "I feel so mad, I feel so angry". How that doesn't apply to Broly you'll have to explain to me, but other than that I think this ultimately accomplished what he wanted it to... to get him some more hits

What's the point in having a large number of hits if nobody liked what they saw? A hit is just a number; it doesn't reflect the quality of the product. A large hit count doesn't change the fact that he's diluting the AMV community with another terrible Broly AMV. You should point him to VegettoEX's AMV Guide. I've made three AMVs, but I read the guide before making the third one and the difference in quality is astronomical. It's the only AMV that I keep up on my channel. Overall, the guide and the examples in the guide served as a solid foundation for me to build my idea on.

You can check mine out here, but that's not really the point. The point is that poorly made AMVs give the art form a bad reputation. Since your friend tried in the first place, I'm sure it's not unreasonable to assume he wants to get better. After all, if he made better AMVs he would get more hits like he wants.

Best post in the thread.
Aro started to laugh. “Ha, ha, ha,” he chuckled.- Actual quote from Twilight

Well, by that theory you could make a DragonBall AMV with almost any song...

But on the lighter side of things, I guess I've seen much worse.

Touche. But like I said, I'll relay this information to him and let him know about the AMV guide here at the site.
