Is Karin-sama White or Blue?
In the manga he is a blue cat, in the anime he is white. So, being people think whatever happens in the manga is the only "Official" way of Dragonball, does that mean Karin is officially a blue cat?
It's all up to interpretation; Bulma also has purple hair in the manga for instance. Yet the fan community seems to look to the anime for coloring and the manga for events. Coloring is just one of those fun things that drive fans nuts. I mean really, no one thinks of the brown haired Vegeta either.

He's blue on the side of the graphic novels (He's on the side of DBZ volume 4, AKA DB volume 20), so I guess he's blue. The only time the anime should be used to know what the color of something is when there is no color of said thing in the manga (like Vegeta's pink "BadMan" shirt, for instance)
Was Karin in any color chapters?

Or the red haired one from the beginning of the Z anime? >_>laserkid wrote:It's all up to interpretation; Bulma also has purple hair in the manga for instance. Ya, that's the way he's always colored them. The anime uses a flipped scheme though... forget which coloring came first though.

<Xyex> Original Freeza never sounded like a chick to me.
<Kaboom> Neither does Rita
<Xyex> Good point.

Coloring's just another inconsistency in Dragon Ball. In the early DB manga, Son Goku is shown with an orange gi in one part of a colored portion, and a dark (most likely blue) one later in the same colored part.
I was voted "most unique" and "most likely to become the next existential thinker" in high school.

I've never seen a blue Korin from the manga, only a brown one.
Battle High 2, starring Kyle Hebert as well as myself, has been released on Xbox 360, OUYA, PC, Linux, Mac, and Xbox One!

Yeah, I noticed that too, the colors are never the same. It seems the colored pages are colored at random with no real thought to them. I seem to remember Nam being collored different too.*PINHEAD* wrote:Coloring's just another inconsistency in Dragon Ball. In the Manga: Piccolo has four fingers, Imperfect Cell has three fingers, Frieza's guts hang out when in sliced in two pieces, the Cell Juniors' eyes, brains, and internal organs splatter when Gohan jacks em up, Piccolos' arms are yellow not pink , #16's eyes are popped out when Cell steps on him, and sometimes the blue in Goku's gi is so dark that it may come of as Black.
In the anime there will be minor differences (number of fingers, hair color, levels of gore). As for Karin...
....he's light blue, face it.

Where is this blue Karin you all refer to? Every Toriyama art I've seen of him, he's brown!
