I was actually planning on doing that (to a certain point). A thing that's been commonly said by Anime Voice Actors is "You usually get hired for "your" voice". That's why a lot of characters in anime dubs sound like the VA's natural voice.Innagadadavida wrote:Although, you do have a pretty unique voice; something that's not easily imitated. You could work with that, I mean, it works for SecretAgentBob.
And right now, I'm trying to find out what DBZ character my voice would fit; that was the main point I was trying to do by posting this. I don't plan on making another video though of my voice on (only) a different character. This was a one time thing, to see how it works with a villain like Freeza.

Which is one of my main criticisms of Anime voice actors, in comparison to actors in western animation they are really inflexible and quite often depend on being typecast *cough*Chris Sabat*cough* instead of experimenting with different roles and different voices.SSJ4 Furanki wrote:I was actually planning on doing that (to a certain point). But I've made my feelings well known on Anime voice acting in comparison to the rest of the voice acting industry.

I see what you mean, I'm not afraid to try something new with my voice, I just don't know how to tackle it as of right now. I want to go into both western and anime voice acting. I know that are some people like that, but not many. At least that I know of.Captain Awesome wrote:Which is one of my main criticisms of Anime voice actors, in comparison to actors in western animation they are really inflexible and quite often depend on being typecast *cough*Chris Sabat*cough* instead of experimenting with different roles and different voices.SSJ4 Furanki wrote:I was actually planning on doing that (to a certain point).
