Actually, it's not that crazy. Pan is 1/4th Saiyan, whereas Bra is 1/2 Saiyan. If Bra was actually a fighter (which isn't there a girl who looks like Bra in this series), her going super wouldn't break any Daizenshuu rules.

Plus the version of Bra we've seen who is a fighter isn't our Bra; this is the daugter of Bulma and Vegetto.

I am amused by the thought that Vegetto's daughter could/should be powerful enough to snap Mystic Gohan over her knee.

That sounds about right, first we had Cell beat Dabra and then they would take the person with the least chance of going Super Saiyan and make them achieve the form in place of someone like Bra. Frankly, I do not think anything will surprise me anymore about this manga.
Dabura never had a chance. Super Perfect Cell, the Cell that's in DBM, is far stronger than Dabura. This is fact from the manga itself. Plus this SPC has been training for 27 years while Dabura's unchanged.
EDIT: Turns out it WAS Daizenshu 7, in Pan's little profile. Ah well, I still say it's a crappy reason and the DBM guys can make her an SSj if they want.
It was just Toriyama's staff making up an excuse for him. 'sides, if they're ignoring GT there's no reason not to ignore the guide books as well~
Yes, I was thinking the same thing seeing as how for Goten he can really only lose. If you beat you're little niece you look like an ass in front of your family and friends, so he pretty much had to lose.
This... always annoys me. Goten was down and dazed and, for all intents and purposes, unconscious. We also know how much power Goten and Trunks had in the Buu Saga and Gohan was much stronger than their parents when Pan was born (as power seems to be somewhat hereditary in the DB world). I wouldn't put Pan any less than 50% stronger than base Goten.
I sure hope the new threat is not one of their bullshit self-made characters. No offence to them but so far all the characters they created are pretty bland and boring.
Say what? I like their techie's. The techie's are cool.
Keep in mind that not a single one of these twists and turns was necessary: it was obvious from the beginning that Cell was in complete control of the battle. Added to that, this is just another preliminary match (ie: not important at all to the overall plot with the exception of the last page), and lasted 15% of the entire series so far. Not just the tournament, the series as a whole. It made up 23% of the tournament. In contrast to the DB manga, that's like having one unimportant fight last the length of the entire Boo saga.
Except that you're talking about an uncompleted work here. If you want to talk about things that don't add to the plot taking long chunks of time the manga's full of them. Everything involving Boss Rabbit, hunting for a girl to get training from Roshi, the entire 21st Budokai, every single panel not devoted to a plot point....

This manga is ABOUT the fights, at least at this stage. You can't skim over what the manga is about. That'd be like remaking DBZ but doing every single battle in one page. And I don't know what fanmanga you've been reading but there were a few points were Dabura could have taken control of the fight and quiet a few comentors were thinking Dabura might be able to win. In fact, had Cell not removed his head when he was turning to stone, Dabura could have won. So it's not nearly as obvious as you want to claim.
That's exactly my point, though. If you run out of ideas in a battle as irrelevent as a preliminary, it's time to move on.
They didn't run out of ideas, they ran through all of the ideas. Big difference.

Also, there are no pre-lims in this. This is the first round.
Plus the version of Bra we've seen who is a fighter isn't our Bra; this is the daugter of Bulma and Vegetto.
We don't know that yet. And judging by how old she looks it is entirely possible that this Bra was born (or at least created) prior to Vegetto's creation.

I am going to leave that Broli comment alone from an earlier post to say that I whole-heartedly agree with you concerning this version of Bra, specifically how she could lay waste to everyone’s hero that has the “Ultimate godly Power”.
The Saiyans are very much like the Klingons and Jem'Hadar.

Do you really have to be so condescending? Goku is the MAIN CHARACTER. I mean Jesus Christ. So Goku gets all of the glory moments while Vegeta always gets his ass kicked. Get over it.

Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!

Finally caught up with everyone here.

Bojack vs Pan?!

Don't want to be mean... but I want it to as bloody as Spobobitch vs Videl
But if she loses, it'll be just like what Vegeta wanted to be, since he asked her to forfeit her match.

Also... Is it just me? or Tullece is nowhere to be found?

It seems Salagir doesn't like Tullece, nor Slug, nor GT.
Pity, I still think that Tullece would be good, he has infinite power ups with the "fruit of godly might" or whatever it's called. He could pretty much be on par with most of the ones there.

I think that was the other Pan.

More importantly, where's a universe with Z and Arale? They wouldn't win, but it would be fun to see!

Still no new page, but the minicomic has updated. It's pretty great. As for its translation, the only difference is that Gogeta says "New artwork/drawings!" and not "Original Arts!"

Oh snap, this is gonna be awesome. Didn't think they'd go this far.

Now I'm wonderin' if Pan-18 can go Super Saiyan, too!

Friggin' great! I am happy! :)

Translation:

Sound Effect: Add Es after the first and second Ms. Not sure why this was changed.

Pan: "Dad's right. He is strong. I better go all out from the beginning!"

Bojack: "The little kid's fast..."

EDIT: Am I the only one hoping she might actually win by beating a smarter fighter? Maybe throw him out of bounds with a Kamehameha?

It wouldn't be a bad idea, but for all we know Bojack might wind up transforming for the win.

Also, as Salagir posted on 125, the Dabra-Cell battle was written by a French fan fic writer who's written other fan fights. I was just wondering...if maybe you'd be up to seeing if anything he's written is worth translating, Dayspring.

The premise is that Bulma made a virtual training machine for Vegeta. Kind of like a Star Trek holodeck. Seems a little meh, especially since some of the battles are just villains vs villains. I'll take a closer look later.

Enjoying the series but now I can see why Toriyama could not do female super saiyans. The gold spikey hair does not look good on a girl.

The finish to the Cell/Dabra fight was sweet. Looks like something you would actually see in the manga. At first I thought it was too one sided then remembered Cell had been training for 27 years. Cell is one of the few villians capable of becoming as strong as the saiyans. With enough training he could become a surper saiyan 3.

Super Saiyan Pan, interesting to see. I suppose if they wanted to keep her looking more like a girl, they could have cheaped out in the character design and just have her Super Saiyan hair be a blonde version of her normal hair, a la Gohan. Oh, and new mini-comic:

Regarding Pan's hair, I'm kind of disappointed they didn't use something similar to post-ROSAT Trunks'.

I swear we had better see a Super Saiyan Bra in this, DBM has gone officially silly. They claim they are supposed to be sticking to Z rules and they go and pull this stunt.

Well, it's likely this Pan trains with Bra-16, so she's likely a Super Saiyan. Don't be so balls to the walls uptight about it.
