Did Dragon Ball even have next episode previews, though? I don't think it did, but I could be wrong.
Yep.

We obviously don't have Dragon Box footage so...
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

I can see this. Don't care for their original instrumental, but their version of "I'll Give You Romance" is great - definitely up there with the original.
For all the flack that FUNimation gets on this forum for their quote about DBZ, there's some modicum of truth to it: a 9-year-old is born every day. Or in some cases, "reborn". DBZ may be a kids' show, but it's been so close to so many hearts all over Japan, America, and quite possibly, even the world.
Funi hasn't confirmed or denied it so we might.
The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.

I'm an optimist... That's just way too optimistic, even for me.

Dude! Stop being an asshole. Why do you have to antagonize after the argument is long over?

Disappoint is spelled with one "s." Oh, and for the record-- when closing a quote, the period goes before the quotation mark, not after.

Just thought you'd like to know, for future reference!

In regards to the trailer, I feel that the theme that FUNimation is aiming for is much more fitting than what they did with the Z portion of the series. As always, Z gets the short end of the stick while the original is much more true to its roots. Is it because they don't care to tamper with it as much? Or, does the original appeal largely to the "hardcore" fan-base?

This has always puzzled me.

Thanks for the tip. I'll take that into consideration next time.

Oh, and incase you didn't know, my posts earlier was meant to be a joke, not to offend you or anything. That's why I had the :P on the end. Sorry for the confusion, I'm a bit impulsive when it comes to writing things sometimes. So I apolgise if I offended you.

Anyway, I think FUNi might dub the openings and endings again... don't ask me why, it's just a strange feeling. Maybe I'm just overly optimistic becuase this set is finally coming, I dunno.

Guys, I implore you to utilize this forum's private messaging system for further grammatical criticism and other retarded internet drama. There's a rather informative and interesting discussion going on in this thread somewhere..

If your post doesn't contain something related to the first 31 episodes of Dragonball....do NOT click the submit button.

Irony.

Anyway, I wonder what kind of remastering they'll do. What was the thing called that they did with Z? DVNR or something like that?

Yeah, DVNR, basically FUNi chooses the strength, pushes the "Go!" button and says "that's 2 million dollars worth of equipment!"

I was not refering to your post. The one above it was my concern.

It's been years sine I've seen the first 13 episodes of Dragonball. I can't wait to see them again.

IIRC, the Dragon Ball GT single sets had the original episode previews, but the Dragon Ball GT remastered season sets did not.

Therefore, those people wishing for the Dragon Ball remastered sets to be just like the GT sets should perhaps reconsider.

But FUNimation is unpredictable. Who knows what we'll get on these sets.

FUNimation's digi-beta masters for GT had the next episode previews.

Though I wouldn't be surprised that if this is a 4:3 release, it's only because FUNimation didn't spring for a new film master.
